Not sure why you bring up the top speed as a negative. I get 29mph on my G3 plus and I'm over 200 pounds and that's on the top end of speed that most Esk8s can deliver and the ones that go higher then that are nearly double the cost.

He talks as though the speed and range on this board are subpar, when they are quite remarkable! 15 mile range on turbo?! Come on, man! That's awesome! And how could anyone complain about 27mph?! I just bought this board today after weeks and weeks of deliberation and I feel really good about my selection. This will be my main commuter to work. Lightweight, fast, range, reliability. So excited!

The g3T has three settings. 1- beginner mode 12mph 2- advance mode 22mph 3-turbo is actually a Speed mode 27.5mph

Yes I agree I wish the braking strength was stronger. I have a G2t and that’s probably my only gripe. I agree seems like a solid board. Backfire should create an app so individuals can customize the ride experience.

I ordered a g2black recently because ive grown sick of wowgos fake engineering bullshit defects and backfire seems to be engineered 10x more solidly. My dream board is the g3 plus bc i weigh 220 and i think the g3 would be too flexy for me. The g2black has a stiffer deck than the regular g3 which will probably suit me well. But the carbon deck on the g3 plus looks stiff enough so one day im gonna buy one. Also belt drives are completely pointless. Hubs have such better Dynamics for an electric skateboard than belt drives.

I just bought the G3 Plus today and im super excited. I'm totally in the hub camp, but I wouldn't say belts are completely pointless. The main feature of belt drives is wheel customization and increased comfort, but in the long run, I can imagine hub tech will only improve and surpass belts in every way. Cloudwheels already has a hub attachment, although it doesn't look so good. I'm still waiting for something like the X1 Pro, with the flex and range of the G3 Plus.

Hey I want to buy an e-board in the next future, but I can't really choose which one I should buy! I think the Exway X1 Pro is great and also powerful as hell, on the other hand would be the Backfire G3 Plus and the G3! Now I don't know which one I should take! I really want the Exway or the G3 Plus, but the Exway costs 849$ and the Plus 899$ at the moment, whereas the G3 costs only 599$ at the moment! How would you compare this to something like the nls pro? By specs it has more power and maybe more torque. I'm assuming it climbs hills better. Would you say that's true?

I just reviewed the G3 yesterday. And I have to say, its just as good as the G3 Plus! Basically, when you compare the two, the differences are the carbon fiber deck and the battery. G3 plus is 0.6kg or 1.6lbs lighter despite having bigger battery thanks to the carbon fiber deck. G3 plus also uses 40T battery instead of G3's 30T, and riding turbo mode fully, G3+ gives 24km/15miles range while G3 ends at 17km or 10.5miles. Of course you can hit the advertised range if u ride conservatively but thats not how I ride or range test. In short, does the range improvement and carbon fiber deck worth for anyone to shell out extra $200? That I cant decide for you 😅👍🏻

@@lukethomas1323 I have the g3 plus and I love it I don't use turbo all that much as it's a little to much to handle all the time .lol ... but I have riden it from full charge down to zero and got 21.4 miles in sport all the way . In very mixed environment with quite a few really steep hills .. also I would point out that I'm only 65kilo ... and also managed to get 31mph on a supper smooth and flat cycle path in turbo on a full battery ... but to be honest my favorate thing about it is the fact that at 1 bar of battery in sport there is litteraly no sag and only limits top speed by like 3 mph not torque of the board .. it really is great on rides with friend when their boards are dying going up the hills on low battery and the g3 plus just powers past them 😎😏.

@@ElectricSkateboardHQ did you notice the springyness to the board .. I wouldnt quite call it "flex" but it's there it's nice it bouces back faster than a bamboo or maple deck .. in my opinion . Especially when you want to de weight yourself from the board to go over a large bump . I don't feel I have to compress as much either..

Backfire Boards -NLS PRO has smart turn on. just like what Kieran said “bending over just to turn on your board is DISGUSTING” lol. -BIGGER 100mm hub sleeves. -4 BRAKING modes -foam grip tape for comfy ride to match the flexy deck and THICK urethane wheels -goes 3-4mph more top speed than marketed 28mph -goes 19mph in just 4 seconds -32km range without having a bulky enclosure, with digital battery percentage -Costumer service used to be ass but its getting better at least they’re trying to improve. all this plus the price? I dont think theres any other eboard out there that can top that.

15 miles in turbo mode sounds good? I payed £1500 FOR MY RAPTOR 2.1 and only get 11 miles out of it. Even in slow mode just bout get 12 miles. My battery died after 200 miles and cuts out at 30 percent and o ly charges to 80. Literally runs for 4 miles If that and now. Motor is falling apart. This board sounds tempting or should I get the bamboo gtr evolve?

Sorry to hear on your experience on Raptor 2.1. I heard that the board drinks battery like nobody's business but this is the first time I hear that level of deterioration with time. Back to your question, it's really what you are using the board for. Most people getting the evolve are for the double kingpin trucks which gives sharper turns and the ability to go All Terrain. Or perhaps you are interested in Evolve due to it being a belt drive? If all three reason above are not what you are after, then Backfire Plus is probably a better bet for being lighter and smoother in control.
