Yep! That's my new board! I'm 49 years old and just had my first e-board delivered at the beginning of November. I've already got almost 200 miles on it now. Absolutely LOVE the Backfire Zealot composite. 👍🏻

Hi Ronnie, really love your videos, keep it up :) I´ve watched a lot of reviews and really like Backfires boards. I live in Sweden, so it´s nice that they have after sales support in Europe. I´m more on the heavier side, around 200 lbs, so I guess the composite deck should be the right choice for me? I´m new to e-boarding and have been riding on a Loaded Tan Tien with Flex2 and Orangatang Stimulus 70 wheels for a couple of years. It´s really smooth and chill to carve with in low speeds but tend to wobble some in higher speeds.

Yo its mid 30s up here in newengland usa and i ride any day its not wet and as long as the suns out and it aint too bad. The cold zaps the range but it almost to cold to ride longer than30 min anyways. Im bummed my meepo nls pro didnt come til late October i try to ride everyday i can before snow comes. Even a chill ride around the neighborhood after work is relaxing. If your on the fence to buy an eboard let me tell u DO IT! Im 33 and never skateboarded much and now im doing 28mph by my house lol it's insanely fun and addicting worth every penny

Hey man I really love your videos!! I have been watching you and Daniel almost exclusively for a week or two as I am looking into getting my first electric board very soon. I am most interesting in the $500-800 range and have the exway flex riot and backfire zealot s with the new composite deck and trucks at the top of my list. The only thing making me lean away from the exway are my size 13 foot and wondering if the board will still be comfortable with the extreme wheel wheel and deck curvature of the flex. What are your thoughts? I also weigh ~ 180 lbs (82 kgs) and worry a little about the flex and beating up the guards and bottom of the flex deck.

Ronnie I need your help! You know how the ZS has standby mode so you can turn on/off the board with the remote? I’m troubleshooting with backfire right now and I noticed in your video here that there are 2 white plugs by the Xt60 mine has 1, is 1 plug for the lights and the other for on/off or does on/off function through Bluetooth? Although the delivery is delayed, I'm less stressed about the order not registering or something. I really hope I get this board before New Years.. would be a bummer if I chose the only shipping option on their site and get the worst delivery service. Hopes High!

@@mikey_two yeah so it did come before New Years, but it took a while.. I placed the order on the 8th of December and it arrived on the 22nd. Now, I don’t know whether or not everyone’s shipment will/was delayed, since backfire didn’t have stock in the US at that specific date. The board turned out to ACTUALLY start coming my way on the 15th. Again, I don’t think this happened to everyone, but who knows... this was my first time getting anything from backfire, and so far the board has been doing GREAT! So, if I were to guess, it would take your package from 1-2 weeks to arrive. This might change depending on where you live, but that is my best guess! I really do hope it doesn’t take you too long :)

Thinking about first board mess thinking of the Meepo because the 34mph but heard the Backfire is a better all around what do you think? Does the built in lights, with the more range but less range make up for the 5.5 mph difference?

I personally don’t need to go over 30 mph pretty much ever. I’m happy at 25 - 30 when I have a need for speed but that’s only 5% of the time. Both make good options. I haven’t tried the NLS belt yet, but I will soon. Hoping to have a video on it next week
