ya this remote is no joke. by farrr better than Hoyts, hobbywing, and Lingy Yi remotes. They need to make something like this.. Onsra, Evolve, & Flipsky v4 are great. This one definitely has that weight on it, like u mentioned. i like that a lot. Mine comes at the end of the month, im excited. great review dude. keep the content coming

I love the upgrades they did. Not over the top to make it a completely different board but enough to bring it current and even above the current market. Not gonna lie, I’m a sucker for the new edge lights. I have a lot of life left on my Zealot S so I’m not ready to buy it yet, but definitely liking it.

GREAT review. Spot on with your analysis. I just got this board and to say it is great would be an understatement. I can go 21mph in eco mode alone with plenty of power to hit the hills with no problem. Build quality is first class IMHO. Stability is not even an issue...I even keep the trucks a bit on the loose side for better turining and the board is as stable as a couch at speed. Overall, I am super impressed and recommend it to anyone on the fence about this board. You simply won't be disappointed in any way.

customer service is great, i just now have developed a problem with my battery after 600km and i think they are going to sort it out, i ordered 2 boards and one of them has a issue all the time but backfire sends me a warranty part and its all good. big props to backfire the boards are great

I got the plain Zealot, and wow, it has sum BALLS. Im so light weight its literally the best on 120mm clouds. I cant imagine the Zealot S, S2, or the X. If yall want power, but not overkill and overpaying much, the Zealot is the cheapest with belt drive.

Thanks! Shred lights should be compatible. I’m in the process of adding shred lights to the zealot x! I would put the SL on your helmet and then the red tail lights on the rear.

⚡ *Twilght of sunset really shows off the light on the deck* ⚡ Breathin mode looks awesome. 50S is lookin like a good cell for esk8, more and more brands startin to use it. Great battery size for this form factor. I prefer a simple remote option, these fancy LED remotes don't last as long 😂 The white enclosures won't look so great after a couple of weeks lol. Backfire usually have good customer service, better than the other brands. The rock/metal music in this did sound a little bit overbearing though, and I love a bit of rock/metal usually 😂 Great review 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Can't speak to the top speed of boards because I just found this, but if you really want to ball.. Get an EUC. On road, off road, footpaths, _over curbs._ You can go *anywhere* on it. I saved up for an InMotion V12 last year and literally found my passion. Nothing beats them in an urban setting.

Road riding _with me,_ it'll comfortably top out at 34mph (Compared to its on paper 37 and the T V2's 30), however the acceleration is borderline disgusting. I've been training my line starts lately, and it takes a lot of two way trust dial in.. but once you're there it's awesome. And then there's the V13.. Which dynos.. At *80mph..* Can you hear my evil grin through this reply Steven.. I've seen Final Destination. I do not care.

Awesome review. My experience with Backfire was meh… I bought the first iteration of the Hammer and it arrived with grip tape that was already peeling. Everybody basically bashed me for complaining about that but ya know, I don’t expect to pay $1200 to get a board and then have to fix/change things right away. Sure some people are into all that, but I’m a casual weekend esk8er when time allows for it. Anyhow, I got no response from them in regards to that… so 🤷‍♂️

hey. Wowgo AT2 was the first $1K board to have air tires and the all terrain format. It truly broke some 1st time records there. The Zealot is not an AT board, it's meant for smooth aspalt. So you are limited to where you go. But in terms of power, the Zealot X SIGNIFICANTLY out performs the AT2.

I’ve got 2000 miles on my Zealot S, and love the subtle amount of flex. I’m sold on everything this board and want to pull the trigger, but the (what seems to be) completely stiff deck is holding me back. Can you confirm is there’s any flex at all on the X, and if not, how does the actual ride quality feel? I felt that was overlooked slightly in the review. Thanks!!

Meepo voyager has a lot of value right now, free $120 max 105 wheels, free $100 faster charger, free $20 bashguards, and free $40 32t pulleys upgrade. The Zealot x has non of that, buts it’s newer and accelerates just a hair faster.

Unless you want to spend 1000+ on your first e skate, the zealot s2 offers a VERY similar experience for around 700$ instead, I got the era 2 as my first eskate and immediately wished I had just gotten a zealot for the range capabilities alone

Great video thanks. My X arrived today, build quality is insane. However I have a question. I want to fit 105mm wheels so I went into the pairing menu on the remote and was asked a series of questions I couldn't answer. Wheel diameter fine, got that but then gear ratio, not a clue and then motor poles? Also no idea so I'm kinda stuck. I can slap on the wheels but I know the remote speed won't be accurate. Any ideas what the settings should be? Thanks

Gear ratio = Pulley teeth / motor teeth (probably around 40/15 = 2,7), u can count them if you don't know how many teeth they have. motor poles are often 7.

Exway sells a gan charger that charges the Flex Pro in only 60 minutes that you can purchase additionally. The Zealot 2s charges in 3.5 hours and the standart Flex Pro in 2.3 hours. The flex has as a higher top (50km/h) speed and has more accessoires than backfire (footstopper, handle) Both of them are good.
