Great video as always. The major liabilities for both players in the opening position are the two back checkers. Once one has been extricated, it becomes increasingly important to escape the remaining back checker and avoid getting another checker sent back.

Yes, that's right. Once escaping one checker, it's almost always correct to escape the other checker when up in the race.
