how to backing-up road train ( LCV ) in trailer yard beside another trailer.
2X53' with A-converter. And OK , I know, the guy with is Honda and his canadian tire trailer can do better than that ...I guess
And btw, no pin lock on converter, if you ask !

holy cow! lmao 🤣 in american truck simulator you're meant to just drive forward to park it so i thought in real life it's the same thing. i didn't know you can manually park it this way.

How many hitches/hinge points are there in this combination? I counted three. Is that right? Sorry if the question is dumb, I'm not a truck driver and don't know much about this stuff. But if that's a Combination with three rotating "joints" - holy shit, I didn't know that it's actually possible to back this. I thought standard b trains with two fifth wheels were pretty much the most difficult thing to back

As a start,first holding the dolly in a straight line, in line with the rear axle of the front trailer. Then compact steering with the rear of the front trailer.👍 Well done!

The A-fram of the tri-axle dolly on the road train i drive here in Australia would be four if not five times as long as the one on that bogie axle dolly. All up from front of truck to back of rear trailer on the triple road train i drive is 51 meters which is 167 foot and fully loaded its around 290 tonne. And except for the steer axle, everything behind the steering wheel is Tri-Axle, including the drive!

It’s called an LCV (Long Combination Vehicle). This is very similar to an A train as there is the converter in the middle. B doubles don’t have a converter. They deal with fixed fifth wheels.
