A perfect end to my day Liam. Old bloke so, 4 mile run this morning, then a 7 mile hike to help a mate who is training for the 3 peaks challenge. Then my new trainers arrived.... same as yours!! Taking up trail running now. And you inspired a 59 year old to get out and enjoy life a little more, Thanks.

Love that scenery, enormous cliffs covered in forest rising out of the sea. Thanks for not putting terrible music in your videos and letting nature's soundtrack do the job. Love those drone shots with ambient sounds too, very relaxing.

I agree, I’d love these videos to be longer, an hour at least. 30 mins doesn’t do the trip and all the effort you put in justice. I’d love to see you camping, where you eat etc.

Another top job Liam. I met you in the airport on your way back from this one. Strangely, a little starstruck I’d say but if I’d had all my wits about me, I’d have taken the opportunity to tell you that I appreciate your work, sharing your journeys with people. I think my favourite thing about your stuff is that you get yourself into mischief but sort yourself out and are prepared to show it - whether you’re escaping toilets that your trying to camp in, almost falling off cliffs attempting to recover a drone or trees stabbing you in the head, you take it in your stride. Thanks for doing your thing - and living for this kind of stuff

I think the most impressive things about your videos Liam is the discipline and persistence you show. I've done 2 days of walking before, a couple of times, and your body is wrecked & your mind can get quite heavy - to the extent you don't necessarily take in the amazing places you're walking through. I often wonder to myself when you're on these long walks how you deal with that, but amazing that it's always seemingly with positivity, again thoroughly enjoyed watching this & look forward to the next one you're able to do 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks again Liam for sharing your trip with us, so inspiring and understated! You seem to be doing so much less cooking on your more recent hikes; is this the case, or are you simply failing to film your meals on the trail? The system of water courses is quite unique. I found it strange that you were evicted from that camp site. As you arrived at it, I thought "Wow, this is the first time I've seen Liam actually using a camping site!" Didn't last long, did it?! Cheers, from Cape Town.

I recognized some of the trails you took! Same as you I went from west to east through Pico Ruivo. I was battered from hiking the day before. But the people kept coming from the east side. It was really confusing. Where did all these people come from? How are these people here so early? Why aren't they tired? While I was rejoicing in the beautiful stars at the night before. I was wondering. How could they have made that beautiful building on Madeira's highest mountain? Turned out there was a huge car park a few KMs further. I was so close to civilization without knowing it. ^^ This is what I like about your videos. It seems like you don't do too much planning. I try to do it as little as possible. Since it takes away a bit of the fun for me. But still I find myself do too much of it. Also I actually enjoyed the clouds. It was my first time going from a clear day into the clouds forming around me. Literally walking into them. Changing from a sweaty climate to a constant humid shower.
