Seeing this brought back all the emotions of my connection to DBNF, Cfalls and Dogslaughter when I worked at Cfalls the summer of 1980 🥹❤️.You went to the trailhead of Dogslaughter when you were 4 but stayed behind to play with Roger’s boys. What an epic video to stir up wonderful priceless memories ❤. The bloopers were 👌🏼. So glad you and Nick have that special connection to Dogslaughter 😊Love you ! Proud of you❤❤

Thanks so much, Mom! I didn’t realize that I was around that area at such a young age. Our entire family is connected to that place, and I hope Liora and future kids will be able to see its beauty and value, too! Love you!

That is awesome to actually camp at a spot that family has camped at for years. Especially when you find it on your own like that!! What a fun adventure!! Thanks for sharing!!

That Shrek conversation 😅 I feel old again! Loved the memories, loved the video! And boy, those bloopers! I would say I was in rare form, but we know better! We just happened to get most of it on camera!

Thanks brother! I’m glad you were able to go with me to experience The Nest together. It wouldn’t have felt as complete without a Trail Brother to share it with. I’m going to expect that kind of blooper performance on all of my future videos, so you better step it up!😅 Excited to get out again together in a few weeks!

Do you have a map or route of your trip that we can follow
@BluegrassBackcountry3 ай бұрын
You can access Dog Slaughter Falls by either taking the Sheltowee Trace/Moonbow Trail starting at the Cumberland Falls visitor center, or drive Forest Service Road #19 until you reach trailhead #414 (Dog Slaughter Creek). Trail #414 has had some issues with fires recently, so I would check to make sure it's open before attempting to go that way.
