Backpacking Food Review: Mountain House Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

Good idea for a series. I always bring a package of tortillas to Isle Royale and the MH spaghetti goes great in them!

My Dad and I have been going to Isle Royale for the past three years now and have had a blast. We eat meals from Mountain House, and our favorite is the Chili Mac

Ah yes seasonings would definitely make a world of difference to elevate the dish. I typically don’t carry any seasonings (I know right .. 😬) but if you can find the little single serve stuff it’s nice. I do think a little Parmesan cheese would really take this dish to the next level.

Good morning Texas!! Depends on work. We try to get them out pretty quickly after filming them but we work full time and maintain our property and such so it’s not as often as we’d like. We often eat packit gourmet meals on our hiking trips but we are open to trying anything!! We have plans for several different brands on this series. Should be another one out very soon.
