BACKPACKING IN PORTUGAL (hitchhiking and couchsurfing)

My adventure in Portugal began in Lisbon, where I stayed at a nice couchsurfer with my best friend. We met wonderful people, with whom we shared meals, stories and nice walks in the rainy city.
We hitchhiked all the way to the Algarve, the south, and discovered unbelievable landscapes. Our couchsurfer, Patrick, hosted us in his van. He taught us his way of seeing the world, and I decided to record it and have it playing in this vlog.
He invited us to the secret beach of Furnas, where we found a whole community of hippies, sharing music and good vibes around a fire.
Then, we hit the road to Faro, but stopped along the way to visit Portimao and the famous Portuguese caves with Alexandre, who showed us around his favorite places.
We left the country from Faro, and our memories of these adventure remain forever.

Hi , thanks for the amazing video . I have a question Now that i want to register for couch surfing , it asks for 14 euros per year , is it ok if i pay ?! Can i use couchsurfing in these covid moments ?!

Yes, unfortunately the app began to make its users pay with the covid. I personally still think it's worth it to pay, considering all the money I save with it through my travels. And yes, I use it during these times, you only need to be respectful of the people's choice of hosting you or not.

@@nicolacerchiaro1733 Thank You !! We have paid roughly 40 euros each for plane tickets, and then we only spent money on food (because hitchhiking and couchsurfing are free)! We ate at the restaurant everyday so in total we spent 70 euros for 5 days.
