Yes! The North Cascades have the most beautiful forests I have ever seen. You gotta see them in person to understand how magnificent they are. It is hard for me to enjoy forests of other regions after exploring the Great Pacific Northwests Western slopes or really all the Cascades and Olympic mountains too🤘🏴☠️

I agree! Once you go to the Pacific Northwest area, all other forests seem to pale in comparison.

Just found your channel, amazing content. My husband and I live in Seattle and a couple times a month we take a few days off to go backpacking. The great thing about WA is that you can find almost every type of hike you can think of, the variation of terrain here is incredible 🏞

Absolutely Gorgeous place to hike. Used to live in Chilliwack and sadly missed it.

I couldn't agree more. Of all the things I've seen there is nothing that gives me goosebumps like giant trees/old growth forests even if they are in small patches.

I LOVE your videos, and I've watched many hiking videos on KZbin. Do you know much about how the maps are created? They seem extremely intricate and contain so much topographical information. I really appreciate all the information in your video hikes. Thank you. Would you consider hiking in the Tongass and make videos of that area?

The time of year you go here really matters. Been here 2 years now great trails. But for real deal I drive straight to MT WY. Enchantments are right up road from house. I like going over longs pass then down Ingalls Creek. You can hit the peaks. Stuart etc. from creek side. 25 miles. The volcanoes are stand alone. I just do not go to Olympic. I can drive to Glacier as easy. Hate rain because of Army service and multiday hikes 😅 Got plenty with 100 pounds of junk strapped to me. 28 days in field is standard training deal. If you piss them off they leave you out for 15 more days as opfor.

I know the trail well. Went there in 2021 all the way to Thunder Basin. Amazing all the way to the glaciers. Skakit Queen had mining equipment and waterfalls and really dense forest and the worst climb of the trip up to Thunder Basin. Only saw people at the Junction campsites.
