Backpacks and chest straps need design love too

I remember when I over tightened the chest strap on my X25 and it popped off. I spent a good 10 mins struggling to get it back on. Only once done did I notice the cut out to slide it back on. At least I think so, I might have just noticed the cut out on my X35. Not sure what ergonomic changes you made between the X25 and the X35 but the X35 is much much more comfortable to wear when quite heavily loaded. It fits me much better.

Indeed, it's not obvious how the chest strap slides on again, so I'l just make sure I'm reminding everyone online every so often. RiutBag X25. It was the first time I'd broken out of the conventional backpack shape. It was a little odd, but I know some people love it still. I absolutely agree, the X35 has greater balance and fits better. It's mainly because of the slimmer shoulder straps and the wider base. I love the X35. I loved designing it, I use it every day even if I'm leaving my home with an empty backpack. I'm so glad you find it comfortable when full. I LOVE a full X35. And it's so good that it fits you too. My thanks and greetings @thegeneral123 🙌

@@riutbag_ I'm glad I actually got it right and there was an ergonomic change. For my January trip to NYC 2024 I'm only going to be taking my R15.4 sadly and using it as a day back and for my camera equipment. X35 is great but I've realised that for a cabin take on bag, I need something with wheels and a handle as waiting in line for immigration at JFK in oppressive heat in Winter for three hours. Wearing Winter clothing, with 16kg in my X35, I was wiped out. I was eying enviously the passengers who had hybrid bags that could be worn as a pack and then have a pull out handle and wheels. So not sure if that might be something you could do but if you made an X35 with a pop out handle and wheels, that would be the ultimate travel carry on item. I'll be bringing a Crush and Sling though, as those are just magnificent designs.
