So I've generally always been critical of the direction backrooms lore took, it basically seemed like a mess from a lack of filtration process like the SCPF has, but the way you presented this is actually fairly enjoyable. I think it's really just a matter of execution to make it interesting again and you've got that down by the looks of it

One level or lore concept that should be added to the Backrooms would be something like the Shadow World. I'll explain. So you think you've made it out of the Backrooms. You've effectively no-clipped back into what seems to be our world, and effectively landed in any one of the spaces you're most familiar with. It could be your house, your workplace, a public space you've always felt safe in - et cetera. For a day or two, everything happens as you'd expect. You're allowed to relax and let your guard down, thinking you've survived and that you're out of the Backrooms for good. Then, and very subtly at first, you notice that some people or environmental features feel slightly off. It could be just a new acquaintance finding ways of having conversations loop to the same statements repeatedly, or maybe you stroll past one isolated house that looks incredibly unconvincing - like you just found one of these fake houses you'll sometimes find in residential areas, that serve as fronts for local transformers or branching-off points for regional coaxials. Over months, you notice that sense of falseness creep in ever closer. Familiar faces online feel not just manufactured, but entirely falsified. News increasingly starts to feel like it's recycling plot details from week to week - not "fake news" as in stories you don't politically agree with, but fake in the sense that they feel like something that's only pretending to be human wrote them. The more you stay in this level of the Backrooms, the more things devolve - and the more you stay the same. Eventually, things turn distressingly real as even things like supermarkets and clothing outlets start to display immaculate plastic items instead of the real things they're expected to carry. By that point, you're surrounded by hostile entities that treat you as an invader or as someone who's gone absolutely mad. With a little luck, you'll be able to use visual cues to figure out that you're the object of a manhunt. By that point, the sky itself looks like the painted-in edges of a large, square room. You can drive for miles and seemingly never reach the edge - and you'll maybe be lucky enough to realize you can cross countries without seeing the edge at all. If you could stow away on a ship helmed by these... mannequins, you'd realize this copy of Earth keeps unfolding as you'd expect. Eventually, the Shadow World will stop producing food and water you can metabolize. Eventually, you'll stop finding real beds to use. You'll start to find Expressionist and low-poly versions of a bed frame, once the geometry and *concept* of a bed start to fade. Eventually, nowhere will be safe anymore, and you'll have to keep searching for a way out of the Backrooms. Again.

Great video, but I looked at level 283 on the Backrooms Wiki, and saw nothing about double doors. It appears to be an island with a civilization of explorers, and no entities, unless you count livestock. I am not siding with the wiki, I’m just wandering if the wiki is somewhat true or if it’s all just random stuff. feedback would be greatly appreciated cause I am getting into this backrooms stuff lol Edit: Nevermind, realized that there are 2 wikis. Honestly the Party goers are the scariest entity to me. The concept of losing humanity is something so creepy and chill evoking to me.
