It takes a lot of time on the saw to make the preform but I do plan on making another sphere soon…….🤞

Nice video, great rock shop, maybe a suggestion? share what geologic formations do your agates / geodes come from? Then you know the age of the formations, what volcanism was nearby? I rock hound in the Mojave desert and spend a lot of time studying USGS maps in order to understand the geologic processes that create these cool rocks. Great job on all of your videos, good luck on your competition

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for watching! I wish I knew more about geology because I’m sure the area in West Texas where I find most of my rocks has an interesting history. It was definitely volcanic. Our rock hounding guide Aaron gives us a little history of the geology when he takes us out on the ranch.
