How lovely that those old traditions are still going, the world needs to preserve this!

Oohh Becky the thanking for the apple harvest was lovely, love hearing of the traditions. It looks very Autumnal. That red yarn you were knitting was rather lovely. Dear Harvey.

Thanks for vlogging - so great to watch you again. Loved the footage of Apple Day. Looks like a scene out of Midsommer Murders 😀. Hahaha - also looks like some of the small villages we have visited in the Cotswolds. Loved it.

So enjoying having your lovely gentle vlogs back and seeing gorgeous Harvey. We can't have our own rabbits any more, so I love to see other people's 🐰🐇🐰🐇

Hi Becky I also like to see what your knitting next and the yarn you've chosen for your litmus cowl looks lovely. I really liked the advent yarn you showed last year and looked on wee county yarns for it but they had sold out by the time I got round to it. So this year, I will be making this year's colourful cowl with their lovely yarns. Just to mention their is a softer yarn option for those who prefer it, using the Kinross 4ply. I love the colour of the cardigan your making too! Nice to see Harvey, he's a very cute rabbit.

Thank you so much for introducing me to Wee County Yarns. After watching you work on their advent Tudor cowl last year, I managed to buy one. I loved it so much, I ordered their advent for this year - and I’m sure for years to come. ❤ Always love finding out about new yarns and yarn vendors.

Wow! Your swatch looks beautiful. Does the wee county yarn soften up after washing? I can handle John Arbon Appledore and Jamiesons but I’m careful. ❤❤

Really pleased to see you back on KZbin again. I love seeing your knitting projects as we tend to knit similar things. I’m currently working on a Kate Davies jumper (Balmaha) with her Millarochy Tweed wool and have Tíoraidh on my to do list. I was interested to see you were using wool from Wee County Yarns as they use JC Rennie wool which is spun in their mill not far from where I live in Aberdeenshire. I know their wool is slightly finer than Jamieson’s Spindrift which I’m using for a Marie Wallin project but, as Millarochy Tweed also seems a bit finer I was thinking about using JC Rennie wool instead as buying a cone makes it much cheaper. Did you find it easy enough to get gauge with it for the Tíoraidh? ❤

Very much enjoying your gentle vlogs - Harvey is a favourite. Tioraidh is pronounced like Cheery, but more Cheeory. It's Scottish Gaelic for Cheerio. What a beautiful project xx

Hi Becky, I’m slowly catching up on Vlogtober and really enjoying yours ❤ Can’t wait to see your Tioraidh, the swatch is beautiful! I’m maybe a bit late, perhaps someone else has already helped you out with pronunciation, but it’s a really easy one: it sounds like ‘cheery’ (it’s Gaelic for cheerio), Ailie x

Hi Ailie, I hope you are keeping well. Thanks for watching and also with the pronunciation - I'm looking forward to casting it on soon. x

Love to watch Morris dancers. Here in the USA I live near the John C. Campbell Folk School which also has a group of dancers. You should check them out.
