JT, great job working with the manufacturer to address potential issues. Good to see that they are responding to the "little guy" and that you can be objective when considering their responses and fixes. Keep it up!

I been running the same rigg and love it . I just started a longer shaft today and have to say, I wish I would have went with a shorter shaft. It's hard as he'll to move fast. But as far as moving across the lake it's nice. I haven't had any vibes in the handle but, I'm standing. 1 thing about this company .You got a 1/3 chance to to order from the son, of this company and he is a total price. Everyone else is cool, but him. But all that said, not a chance in hell I'd go back to swamp runners or k.k.k., or any Thai land crap. Thanks for the keeping your videos and voice real

I appreciate your feedback. I do plan to run this engine on the previous mud motor to see if its the engine or the kit causing the vibration. I would say half of the people I hear from said they haven't had a bad vibration, and then the half say they experienced excessive vibration. For shaft length is nice to have a short shaft for maneuvering, but for what I do I don't mind the long shaft of the swamp runner. I'm mostly in an open area and just running. Its not like I'm in timber all the time. If I were, then that may be where the backwater has an advantage. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, I really do appreciate it

Still concidering getting one of those but so far I like the swamp runner kit. Keep up the videos. I get a lot of things from your videos

If it didn't have so much vibration, I would like it a lot better. It is slow compared to swamp runner, but it is solid built kit. Thank you for the support John! The videos will keep coming

I bought a swomp glide jon boat with a 212 pred. It's my first boat and first pred 212. How the heck do you wire up that push button kill switch? Also I know this is the wrong video but thank you so much for making that how to launch your boat by yourself. I was out on the water yesterday and launched and reloaded no problem first time ever!!!

Hey JustBlazin2001, I really appreciate that. Thanks for taking the time to comment. So the main purpose of the kill switch is to stop the engine (turn off the engine quickly). This is normally done (easiest way) by tapping into the low oil sensor. So you could just use a wiretap, but I didn't do it this way. I used bullet connectors for a more reliable connection. So what I did was cut the low oil sensor wire (normally yellow) and add a male bullet connector to the wire that is currently attached to the low oil sensor and a female bullet connector to the other wire so that way you can put it back together. Then create your own pigtail that will look like a V. You will have two wires going into a male connector and on the end of each of those wires will be a female bullet connector. Lastly, add a male connector onto the kill switch wire (it has to be the correct wire) the other wire will go to ground. Then, plug it all in. The male bullet of the low-oil goes into one of the female of the V adapter, and the kill-switch male goes into the other female of the V adapter. then the male part of the V adapter goes into the female of the low oil sensor. Hopefully, that makes sense?

Any way you could link the exact new throttle please
If you are considering a different motor check out Subaru 14hp . They are really well balanced motors for the money.

I'll have to take a look into that. I haven't heard of many people using that engine

JTgatoring yea haven’t seen many. I was going to get one before my Vtwin. They are ohc design and supposedly pretty quite and balanced due to it.

Yeah, I'd really like to get a 16hp vanguard vtwin for this boat. Supper balanced with little to no vibration and quiet while also fitting on a medium swamp runner kit and not have to move up to the large kit. That would be a prime set up.

If I did it again I might just up for the 23hp. It’s very similar to size and weight and more of an aftermarket . The 13 and 16s are both very reliable motors and I do really like mine .

Maybe that will fix you up

Yeah I'll be running it and trying to get it situated. The squeeze throttle was a lot more comfortable when compared to that static throttle lever. We'll see what the new props do
