As a homeschool mom, I watch these videos with my boys. Today they had some questions for you and asked me to send them. Question 1. Were Hispanic people living in this area during the 1800's? If not , why? Did people in the 1800s have a way to cool their homes in the heat? Did they not eat after a certain time of the day? Was there soda back then? Did they eat sandwiches? Thank you so much for being so wonderful and so informative. We love your channel very much.

I'm 79 years young and grew up in a house that my dad built with the help of his father, brother-in-law and some other relatives and friends. We lived in the basement for a couple years until they could afford to add the main house. It was a 3 bedroom ranch with one bathroom that remained mostly unchanged for close to 30 years. A breezeway and garage were added about the 25 year point and then a master bath about 10 years later. You will always be justifiably proud of what you're accomplishing as will your children and grandchildren. I hope you always keep that approach to the house. It's so idyllic and charming. With a couple trees in strategic spots, it will be stunning. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and great memories there!

Vitamin C, Zinc, and D3 are also important to take daily to address viral and autoimmune triggered mouth sores. Additionally, One mouth and gargle rinse that I use every few days and especially when I’m sick (thanks to my dentist) is to gargle with water cut with a little bit of hydrogen peroxide. It helps heal the mouth and cleanse it without being harsh and irritating. You the give a final rinse with just water after the peroxide gargle. It’s proven time and again to help just regular sore throats as well, like during strep or flu. But I would try it for your mouth sores and see if it doesn’t help.

I love what you are doing with your house... I was going to move and restore an early 19th-century log house... What a can of worms that turned out to be... So.. instead I bought an original 1833 Tennessee log house that was 'improved' and added to for the following 50 years... It is very original and never really restored... 19th-century window sashes and cylinder glass... There are old stone fences and a wonderful stone springhouse... I love it... I plan to build a summer kitchen in the yard... I am removing much of the old plumbing and actually living in period fashion... Electric will go later... I am hoping it will become a living history museum for school children...

for the blisters, I used to have them a lot. I found out it was an issue with my stomach. You need a period of intense detox. Nothing acidic (although water and lemon juice in the morning is ok), no inflammatory food and no sugar. Try living without hot sauce for a while 😄 I would also try some therapy to restore your gut microbiome, that can get easily f*ed up after an illness. Either than that, the new house looks amazing!

I will absolutely love you guys being in that lovely house! You can even have the storyline that you found that treasure you were searching for, were able to afford to move into a much nicer house, invited the Frenchman who was your former landlord to visit, and helped others less fortunate. You can even have an episode where you give the log cabin to someone in need of a home. There's so many possibilities. But you've been looking for that treasure, and you can say that you finally found it, and became well off, so now have a beautiful house and property to show for it. 😉

Your home and land is just gorgeous and I love the period style your are fashioning your home in. Wise plans constructing your home with the cross ventilation. My husband grew up on an old farm and the whole family raised sheep. I always marveled at the way the old farmsteads were built in a way that they appear nestled in between pasture and shade trees and the homes never felt hot like a modern day buikt home. May have been due to the thickness of the walls. All of this to say I really enjoyed the tour and thank you for showing us.
