Backyard Build - START TO FINISH!

Building out an incredible backyard from start to finish, showing every step along the way! We build out an 800 square foot deck, half of which is covered by a porch roof. The deck design includes an outdoor kitchen, a fireplace, and huge custom bar. We also finish off the backyard with a beautiful custom paver patio, landscaping, and lighting!

So, I own a Trucking company that is an in house hauler for Techo-Bloc. I started watching the video for the deck ideas not knowing Techo was even in the plans, but I have to say, seeing the creative process, which we rarely get to see from our perspective, was awesome. Kindly advise as I have noted you did not clear the grass from underneath the deck area - will it not result in the unchecked growth of weeds and grass under the deck? But absolutely great build.

got my triple beam up there.....sounds like you've pushing weight 😂 good video I just made 62 ft deck around a swimming pool out of cedar all alone last summer about 90 days to complete it's 62 ft with stairs 1/3 is pool hight the rest is 12-23 in about ground turned out amazing

What do you fill finish nail holes with on pvc?

Pvc fill stick! It’s like a waxy crayon that fills the holes nicely

I used a PVC fill stick on an azek patio door casing and 1-1.5 years later I checked back on my work and every hole I filled with it turned black/green from mildew or algae growing on the wax. So I swore I would never use them again. I’m curious what brand you use, and have you ever encountered what I’m talking about?

I build a lot of decks here in VT and my biggest challenge is always septic location, and/or finding it. Do you guys have good town and state records there or do you hire a company to locate the tank leach field? It’s like the Wild West here. People just built homes and threw tanks and pipes in the ground wherever and however without documentation of location.
