Superb interview! What a great car and story - loved the in-car footage as well, complete with classic Aussie rally landscape. Brilliant stuff Dave, your videos just get better and better.

Oh, and Gambit (Gareth Hunt) drove an XJ-S and sometimes a Range Rover 🤓

Thanks champ. Thought I was getting lazier just doing the ‘cutaways’ while we’re talking but it saves a whole lotta time for everyone involved. Loses the dynamism in the interview, but that’s more than made up with other bits of archive thrown in the mix. Full marks for the XJS and RR.

loverly car well done, great interview, I am also in the land down under and loved Tr7 from my child hood. Great to see so many fantastic examples around. I have have one TR7 V8 from the early 80's and it been registered and drive non stop. I now have 3... Its been an absolute joy..

You have an affliction for which there is no known cure. And I love it. Three TR7s? Please post a pic on my Facebook page or send me one in the email link on here in the about section. I love me a TR7 but three is wild.
