This is a Next Era Excavation project I did a few weeks ago. The customer wanted a more level backyard for their kids to play. I am using a rented Caterpillar 312E excavator. Like what you see? This is why operators have back problems. Even the best get slammed around.

Fascinating video. Well done! Curious, generally speaking, what does a job like this cost the homeowner? Thanks!

Hi Tom, I bought my son a GoPro hero 5 session so that he could start his channel learning to run my bobcat and mini excavator. It is absolute garbage, as a quick google search will evidence. Do you have any advice about camera and software that would allow him to make video modeled after yours? You and LetsDig18 are his idols.

Interesting. That stinks. I have a GoPro Hero 4. Thats what every one of my videos is shot on. Works great. GoPro studio works great for editing.

I'm surprised they aren't getting a retaining wall up right away. Isn't the homeowner concerned about the hillside collapsing and taking the neighbors' fences with it?
