I've heard of the Horse Whisperer, but you have to be the unchallenged Bird Whisperer! It's so fun to see all your episodes, and all the shenanigans those feathered friends come up with. Most of them are like Dachshunds - they obey and respect you to 100%, but only when they feel like it. 😆

Sadly, Viewer, there was to be *no* Part 3. The trickle of chickens through the door became a fowl flood, soon becoming a critter'cal mass of post-Cretaceous dinosaur offspring... hungry... post-Cretaceous... dinosaur... offspring. Officials who responded to the scene of utter carnage (and *sooo* much guano - man, and *all over the gym equipment* ) stated that the only witness, the only apparent survivor: a very confused Magpie. So confused, it swooped upon *no-one* .

Mrs. Magpie is like "Where is the buffet?" I don't think I've ever seen a chicken arm bus before. Always nice to see the feathered family. How is springtime going? The weather must be lovely this time of the year. Do you ever sit out and have breakfast on the patio? Can you do that or will there be nothing but feathered robbery taking place? What would an Aussie breakfast look like? I legit just ordered a jar of vegemite maybe 5 minutes before posting this comment. Vegemite on toast with what to drink? That would be a fun video if you ever made it "Vegemite, (insert beverage), and feathered chaos" 🙂
@jonesyokc2 ай бұрын
it wasn't bad. I tried 2 different amounts on toast. Both very light. But you really go light with this stuff. I tried the different amounts because my tastebuds are pretty scorched from eating overly spicy food. 🙂 It is worth a try. And Americans..... don't eat it like a chip dip.
@BackyardBirdsofAustralia2 ай бұрын
Oh that's awesome that you got some vegemite! Breakfast is usually just a black coffee for me, or that with 2 bananas if I'm about to hit the gym, but a lot of Australians have things like weet-bix or oat porridge or, as you just tried, toast with vegemite or whatever else. But yes there would be way too much feathered robbery if I tried to eat something like that outside! What's a typical breakfast for you over in the US?
@jonesyokc2 ай бұрын
@@BackyardBirdsofAustralia After doing a Google search, I suspect oat porridge is the same thing as oatmeal. Or close enough for government work. If that is the case, I have about a 6 month supply in my pantry because I cannot resist a sale. I just ordered a box of weet-bix to give it a try. it looks promising. I want to read up more on the origins of vegemite. With all the options out there, why do people use that on toast? Breakfast is often neglected for me despite what is in my pantry. Coffee is daily for survival. Sometimes cereal with milk. Sometimes a muffin and a banana. Greek yogurt is another option. I think Americans are known for bacon & eggs. Or I should say an egg dish and a meat like bacon or sausage. Eggs can be fried, scrambled or in omelet form. Some prefer biscuits and gravy. Then again it depends on if it is a work day or a weekend day. Everyone is in such a rush that people don't slow down and have something good. But no matter what -- I must have my coffee.
@BackyardBirdsofAustralia2 ай бұрын
@@jonesyokc Oh and did you have the vegemite with butter as well? I think Milo is originally Australian as well. I remember putting Milo on Weet-bix when I was young. Otherwise banana or honey goes well on weet-bix.
