Why people hate dealers: I got the p-0087 code and had a message that said “check exhaust, see dealer” I called all local dealers and the soonest I could get in was 3 weeks. I took the truck in and the service advisor (joke, I don’t believe they know anything) scanned my truck and said “22% life left on fuel filters” I said “I just changed them but forgot to reset” she then said “oil change due” I replied “I use amsoil so I’ll do that myself” she recommended some sort of fuel system cleaning, my truck has never run an ounce of fuel without stanadyne performance fuel additive so I turned that down. Those items were $1k, 4 days later she texted and said “truck is ready” I went to pick it up and they had done nothing but reset the codes, the techs notes said basically “since we can’t change filters we can’t diagnose” come back. No call no communication what so ever. They were mad because they couldn’t make $700 profit off of me in 2 hours (that’s how long it takes me to change both fuel filters and change oil) I drove the truck home and the code came right back.

Hi, got a 2020 ram 5500. I was on my way home from my trip. My truck stalled like 2-3 times. When driving, truck throws check engine light and there's no throttle response, as soon as that happened i pulled over and right before i stop the truck just stalls. when i try starting it back up, it turns over but doesn't start until 20- 30 min with few tries. Then it starts up like nothing happened and check engine goes away. I changed my fuel filters, same thing is happening. It seems like its something electronic. I checked the codes, I'm getting P0091. I changed the fuel rail pressure sensor. And now that i saw your video its making me think it might be the lift pump. Thers just no way to tell if i fixed the problem because it happens randomly, i guess i just have to wait and see if it does it again. I only have a hard time staring it, only if it shuts off on me. Any ideas?

Mine set this code, new fuel filters fixed mine. Just saying but always try new filters first. Also if you cycle the key off and on to the run position three times it activates the lift pump, no need to the starter relay apart.

Got a 14' 6.7 r placed the fuel rail plug, fuel lift pump. Runs good at lower speeds but when I step on the pedal it stays at 2500rmp and won't shift till I let off the pedal.. any help is appreciated

First you need to clear DTCs drive the truck.. and see what pops up first..

Sounds like you have an electric or your fuel pressure relief valve is damaged.. you have to be able to see live data on high pressure side..

How do you diagnose the injection pump, lets say their are no faults found , in the low pressure side of the fuel system, how do we test the high pressure side , i have a 4500 i replaced injection pump , fuel filters , and when cranking i only have 100 psi at the rail , i know my low pressure side is good because , when lift pump activates, it sends out diesel as shown here , so my question is how could we diagnose the injection pump for proper flow

I’m assuming that your truck won’t start, 100 psi it’s not enough for the engine to fire up, in other words it’s not building enough pressure, you may have injector issues or a release valve issue, if the injection pump has been replaced, you may need to remove fuel lines one by one and put a cap on the fuel rail, when the engine starts, that’s the faulty injector, or start replacing the release valve.

I'm getting a P2281 an exhaust service required see dealer now. Truck been been deleted. EGR an straight pipe from turbo back. An S&B cold air intake. And throttle body delete 2010 dodge 2500. I'm using a smarty jr Programmer. Its been 4 years ago I did the deleting. Thanks. Angel. I tried clearing the code but it keeps coming back. Thanks again.

Cuando lo troca esta acelerada por más de 15 segundos.. y la presión alta está baja... al contrario de lo que está pidiendo.. y si la diferencia es (-) de 500 lbs.. la computadora avienta ese código

I recommend to it every time You change the oil. I got a 2018 RAM 3500 dually. I bought it brand new with 25 miles now it got 350,678 miles. And it still going like an ox.

Es el filtro de diésel está al lado izquierdo del motor, solo ocupad un socket 27 es fácil de hacerlo.

You calibrate the turbo actuator.. or was it plug and play.. you need a scanner capable of calibrating it... Reset won't do nothing..

@@BackyardDieselz it was the plug and play… I have the snap on modi’s ultra , it has it for me to Calibrate it , but the steps are to take out coolant and remove actuator, would still have to do the process if it’s a plug and play…Thank you
