Cleaning a bike that's hard to clean: 1. Clean it really REALLY well. Take a few bits off/apart if you need to. 2. Polish it up with a ceramic paint coating. (I'm using Mothers CMX) 3. Repeat. 4. Go get it as filthy if you want. 5. Hose it off with your garden hose. 6. Wipe off the drips with a clean cloth. 7. Looks like new. Lasts... well I'm not sure. I'm weeks into it, and it still works like I've just done it. From what I can gather from online reading, you're looking at a year or more.

Ebikes can have a nice benefit to people who bike exercise and use to get around town and such: backup power to assist for longer distances. An ebike is a bit heavier. It takes longer to get from A to B, but I considered that a plus, it gives me more of a workout. The ebike can help get up hills that are real tough. This is of great benefit to someone in many areas of Kentucky, for example. Also, if someone runs out of body energy to exercise prematurely, the throttle is always there to save the say =D. So helping with the hills make biking realistic for people who previously it would take too much effort.
@JoshuaDomoslai2 жыл бұрын
There’s no throttle. It’s always constantly assisting your pedaling

I never understood why people get so hung up on the extra weight of an ebike as if it's a bad thing. A 150lb rider on an ebike is no different than a 170lb rider on an old fashioned analog bicycle as far as component- and trail-wear goes, and the extra mass gives a smoother ride over bumps and through corners. The only time extra weight will hurt is going uphill, and that's what the motor's for.

If you're new to ebikes don't spend amounts uowards of 3000$, there are lots of option that can get you a sick bike and let you get a feel for the thing, without breaking the bank or having to sell them again after a month
