About 40 years ago, I used to sit next to a boy on the school bus who would often share his lunch leftovers with me on the 45 minute ride home. One of his regular lunchbox treats was egg and bacon pie and I loved it. My mum was a basic sandwich, fruit and muesli bar lunch maker and not much of a home baker, so I never turned down the home made treats that Andrew would share with me.

Love a bacon and egg pie. My flatmate way back in the 80s used to cook a bacon and egg pie when it was his turn to cook. He used to add a tin of watties spaghetti to it. Was nice the first few times but eventually after the gazillianth time he made it we had to ask him to stop making it 😂

I would put sliced pumpkin and spinach first level with a sprinkle of curry...or smoked paprika yummy...can taste it now...with a side of mashed potato or cauli or brocil... My m used to make chicken and leek pie so nice and great on a cold night could smell it at the front gate and she was shocked I could smell that far away as we had big front yard...😮😮😮😅😅😅 I hope your Op went well...and U are Up soon...😂😂😂

I am enjoying seeing another kiwi cook foods I do and how others cook them. I use cottage cheese, grated onion and a bit of cheese and of course bacon and all beaten eggs in mine. Oh and a few tomatoes slices diced

@LisaMarieo1 Hello, and thanks for reaching out. In the video I show you, I put whole eggs in the bottom, and also, I make an egg mix with eggs and cream. This is how I like to make it, but of course, you can just use whole eggs if you like. 😊
