Thank you for witnessing for the Lord. I am so blessed to have found your channel. My mamaw made the most delicious biscuits. She used clover leaf lard and homemade buttermilk. Never used a cutter but just her hands. They were perfectly round. When I use parchment or wax paper to knead my dough, I tape down the corners so it doesn't move around. What a perfect dinner! Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and these beautiful biscuits. Most likely, a 100 year old recipe used lard or bacon grease as shortening wasn't invented until about 10 years later s a cheap alternative to lard or tallow. Shortening is the most unhealthy version. Use bacon grease, lard, tallow, ghee, butter, even duck fat. Any animal based fat is much healthier than synthetically processed shortening. We were lied to about what is healthy for us. I love your channel, your recipies, and your allegiance to God. Blessings🙏🙌🙏

I am so glad I came across this KZbin channel it's been such a blessing in my life not only with the recipes because the main reason I watch is because you are a woman of God and I enjoy listening to you I enjoy the recipes and I've been saving each and every one of them hopefully to try them when I can and I am physically able to get back in the kitchen. I hope that one day I get to meet you and I get to hug you and let you know how much I appreciate you. I agree 100% The first one i tried were the Salisbury Steaks in gravy. My husband said he wished he could have some like his mom made when he was just a boy. These were spot on and the gravy on the potatoes had him dreaming of childhood. Dirt poor but he had no idea that they were as he always had a belly full of good food. When I say I'm trying a new one he just can't wait to try it!

I know there’s lots of Christians here so I’m asking you all to pray for the kneady homesteader. They were in a horrendous car crash that took the life of her husband. It was a drunk driver who hit them. She is still in hospital badly damaged with two broken arms two broken feet and on leg smashed. Her two younger children were damaged as well with broken arms. She was not expected to live but has come through. It’s devastating. They had eight children between them so this is a huge difficulty as he was the main provider. So please pray. They need everyone’s support.

Becky, I truly believe that you are one of God's best. That's why I am asking you to send up a prayer for Heather Conn and family of the Kneady Homesteader channel. The family was hit by a drunk driver Feb. 13. Her husband was killed in the wreck and her two children were hurt and she is on a long road to recovery. Thank you and God less you for all you do. PS: Also, please pray for the drunk driver and his/her family. I believe they need prayer as well.
