Bacon grease and LARD along with Organic Ex Virgin Coconut oil are great in high heat and they do not change to carcinogen toxic crap at high heat like the Fashionable Olive oil and ALL the Veggie Oils.

I asked multiple people about this and everyone said that it would be corrosive due to the salt in cured bacon thanks for helping me clear this up

The majority of the salt would have been removed during the boiling/rendering process. It's probably best to clean your guns shortly after firing, but I let one sit for a couple months uncleaned after shooting these bullets and there wasn't even the slightest bit of a sign of trouble.

I've got a big tupperware full in the freezer, as my better half wanted it off the counter so it wouldn't spoil. I'll savor knowing I was right, for once. Might make some fancy grilled cheese sandwiches, infused with bacon on the griddle.

I always keep my extra bacon grease to cook my chickens scratch feed bacon breakfasts in the winter. Old farmer told me about it. I’ve had grease go bad that I forgot in the back of the fridge. It was well over a year old. I make sure not to let it go to waste now. Maybe I’ll lube bullets with it some day?:) thanks for the follow up!

I think one of the keys was that I rendered this and I filtered out all of the bacon bits. I'd say powder coat the bullets and eat the bacon.

Wow I forgot about that video that’s a good question if to use it as case lube I don’t see why it’s slippery you only using very little then wipe I would say try it and make a video on it 👍👍 thanks for the update
