You should use the same bacon basket technique and make a meatloaf in it. It's so unhealthy, but so, so good. Bonus points if you top it with BBQ sauce instead of ketchup.

It does look like the cheese layers were too thick, which is why you couldn't get the amount of layers you were supposed to. I would try this, but unfortunately, I can't handle ricotta cheese. :(

Everything and nothing at the same time, and we get so obsessed that we put our whole life into it, which can be a good thing but can be a bad thing at the same time. I’m currently obsessed with investing, stocks, shares, gold cause I can’t work an average job as I’m partially blind too, so I’ve gotta use my mind, might make my own business and become a social media manager, I’ve got a pretty big company that’s interested in me, and it won’t make me loads but I just wanna make enough that I don’t have to stress over being down because I’m on benefits, even though I’m entitled to them, I wanna do something and I wanna get to a point where I can pay my mums mortgage off for putting up with me over the years, because I know I’m very hard work.

@@eg1885 What's "dumb af" is thinking there's a rivalry - they are two different products; there is no "turf war". They aren't brands, they are two specific products. Another "dumb af" thing is that Barry certainly uses a $hitload more Parmesan than he does Grana Padano, so he's actually being a huge hypocrite because he doesn't know squat about cheese, and can only eat it when it's melted.

I agree with you about food scissors, I can´t live without mine, it even has a pizza slice add on, so if I use it on a pizza, I can lift my slice up with my scissors :D I have problems with my hands, so I have a hard time using fork and knife to cut things up, so this scissor has been life changing for me :)

When you said you have to watch out for bacon grease & gotta drain it; I instantly got an idea! Next time you do something like this, get those tin aluminum type baking dishes. (Sorry forgot what it's called) & poke small holes on the bottom. Then grab a cooling rack, put it on the baking sheet pan then put the tin of bacon lasagna ontop & the grease will drip out of the holes on the bottom & into the pan below to catch!

Small wire tray in the bottom would help for better drainage. Or perhaps use slices of root vegtables as a base on bottom of loaf tin? Then you would have a nice side dish of bacon soaked slice potatoes!

You should try Potato Bacon Pie - it's basically this but we make it with seasoned thin potato slices and two types of cheese instead of lasagna ^^

You can use dry lasagne noodles without having to cook them. They will cook up nicely. You just have to make sure there is liquidish (sauce) touching them. It doesn’t have to be wet even. And it comes out cooked nicely. I’ve never seen fresh lasagne noodles. I bet its yummy.

You can get three, possibly four layers if you do white sauce first, red sauce second. That way you get much thinner layers of sauce instead of those bricks of cheese you had.

I used To do something like this for my ex. Except I did a lasagna stuffed garlic bread. You line the loaf tin with garlic butter covered bread, make a lasagna inside of it, top it with another layer of garlic bread and bake for about half an hour ( I'm not 100% on the time,it's been a while since I made it) and there you go. Lasagna and garlic bread in one pan.

you can blend equal amount mince beef or pork with veg ( a carrot, a few pieces of celery, onion, bell pepper) maybe a mushroom boil that in fresh tomatoes, water and tomato paste with a little chicken powder / stock and it will be much healthier, less guilty without tasting like veg it still taste like meat

2nd comment - as a kid, I used to make something a little like this. - Make a meatloaf,hollow out a large round greek loaf(or simular) insert loaf,put lid back on, wrapp with bacon and slow cook at low temperature, slice and serve !

You describing it as smelling like mashed potatoes makes me think you should try the pseudo pork roast from the anime "Food Wars", a mixture of mashed potatoes and minced mushrooms & onion rolled into the shape of a roast and wrapped in bacon to give it a pork flavor- it was also done on the KZbin channel Binging with Babish.
