there is another john you should talk to since you're both experts on stuff. he is a lawyer, teacher, astronaut, janitor, coach, doctor, and and any other profession you can think of. just look for a big buff white guy with many cameras around him named johnny and you'll know you found the right guy. also use the magnet block and distance sensors for kinda alright lock on missiles. i made some and they're shit, but they work.

from my testing of sensor missiles you have to get very close to the target for them to work. they are impractical for air combat. and you cant use sensors near the ground. but shooting ships with them actually seems viable. that's kind of where i want to test a few things. anti ship missiles.

A genuine game you can play on a trailmakers build. Or even better you could bring back my dog. Please John I know you’re hiding him. I’m not taking my pills, you cannot make me.

Im looking at this and the old videos about the old computer, and its impressive, but I can't help but want to introduce you to the concept of an OR-loop: basically 2 OR gates feeding into each other create a storage cell for a number from -1 to 1, and you can add or subtract stuff from that number every tick by doing an input into both of the gates, and you can take that number and use it for stuff. I have been able to output those numbers onto a display, do addition, subtraction, multiplication(a bit scuffed but works), compare numbers, and even synchronise turrets with different horizontal traverse limits ("early turret control system" on the WS). I tried more stuff like an old fasioned rangefinder with 2 cameras, but my trigonometry knowledge is khmkhmNotGoodkhmkhm. love the "useless logic stuff" though🙃

already aware. that's a way to store data. i am trying to compute data. i don't need to store data if im doing the computations live and feeding the output right to the gun. unless you can do powers and nested fractions it probably wont help but if you could send me a video to see it i would still love to.

Can you measure ranges using the map? That's kind of the only situation where having a ballistics calculator without having a range finder makes sense.

its not practical. most people that do this stuff already sight the ranges on their guns by trial and error. the end result is nothing new, just the methodology is overcomplicated.
