Thank you for your videos. I'm a second-generation homeschool mom of 4 in Canada. I ordered the mcguffey set, and l'm loving working with my kids in a new light. Both my kids and l are loving the renewed dicapline in our household. It is so peaceful. I had our fourth baby in April and needed surgery. The kids went totally wild (like feral) while l was out of commission recovering. Now, we are recovering our peace and order. Your videos are so spot on, frank, and real. Great explanation. I think most people are afraid to say they dont agree with gentle parenting because then it feels like it means they aren't gentle at all/anytime during parenting. I've seen alot of Christian parents buttheads about this. It needs to be said more, " I dont "Gentle Parent", but I am a gentle loving person." Most people have never seen or experienced authority that is steadfast/unmovable...but still gentle. I am the one who is new to this and forget to connect with my kids. I definitely needed this lesson. Thank you.
