Pixi 6% lactic acid peel and polish is $22 (a year supply) and it does treat hyper pigmentation and acne scars. The Pixi Glow peel pads 20% glycol acid at $24 (a year supply) helps clear out pores to allow them to reduce in size appearance, follow with a retinol (I'm not sure if Differin gel would work, but retin a does) and SPF 30 every 2 hrs during the day (Pixi, Coola, Supergroup, or EltaMD) . More efficacious treatments than Sunday Riley ; which is good stuff, but I needed stronger formulas and prescription acne meds. Pixi Glow Tonic is just a cult classic. CeraVe is also a surprising line an d helped heal my skin from photo damage and dehydration. Just in case anyone wanted to know. Happy Days everybody!

The pixi glow tonic is actually pretty good for textured skin and hyper-pigmentation because of the glycolic acid (the Ordinary's glycolic toner is cheaper and more effective IMO, but might be a bit harsh if you've never acid toned before).

Also The Ordinary’s 30% Vitamin C in Silicone Suspension is a cheaper alternative to hyper-pigmentation. I wish she would’ve done a little research before make that claim. The Ordinary’s products are so cheap and effective.

This is must have information! I've been committing to skincare around 10 months now, and the products I've found that give me real results are costly! I'm experiencing a breakout right now because I switched out my Farsali Rose Gold Elixir for a cheaper rosehip serum and my skin was like, "this is some bullsh--"! LOL My skin isn't having it! But mask come at all price points. I saw some in the dollar tree. I have quite a few lip mask which I never use, but I will try them now and see what it's giving! I have a in law getting married in April and that pretty much means that I will spend that whole weekend visiting with them and I've got to get my skin in check by then at least! These recommendations will help a lot.

Peter Roths Potent Vitamin C is hands down the best. The only thing is it cost $58 dollars but if you sign up for emails you will get 15% off. But It works super fast. I don't even have to wear as much makeup or color correct. And being African American finding a product that really works ain't easy.

Oooo I wonder if the frozen toner trick would work on a cotton pad too so you're not using too much product! 🤔 I bet it would feel amazing even though pores don't open/close.

OMG the part where you're talking about your mom teaching you about skincare and the hands and neck....LITERALLY MY MOM. Every time I wash my hands, I HAVE TO PUT LOTION ON AFTERWARDS and people think I'm crazy for it but girrrrl that is why my hands are so soft! I also put oil on my whole body right after I get out of the shower before I do anything else. People feel my skin and they can't believe how soft it is. But I feel like skincare is the only thing I can really control about myself, so that's why I love it so much.

As a black girl who doesn’t struggle with hyper pigmentation, can any one educate me with what it specifically is and why it is a struggle. I have a sister with acne and dark marks so I want to help her out thanks.
@kagitsune6 жыл бұрын
The funny thing is that your Pixi Glow Tonic *will* help with skin texture and hyperpigmentation! 😃 That Glycolic acid will keep you cute, especially if you're not sensitive to the fragrance! 😄✨ For more effective control of hyperpigmentation, try a Vitamin C serum! Derma E and Kiss My Face offer some that won't degrade. You can even mix up your own with L-AA powder and distilled water every few days! 🍉🍓🍍

Thank you for doing this luxury on a budget video! This is one of my favorite skincare videos so far! I’ve been curious recently about Pixi products and here comes my girl Jackie with her stamp of approval! It’s like the skincare gods were talking to me through you! 🙏🏾 Thank you girl! Getting ready to do an online target run, right now they have an online skincare deal where if you spend $30 on skincare, you get a $10 gift card back! Thanks again for the video!
