I used to use a 61-inch mower years ago, but hav a hilly yard and it always scalped. Switched to a 48-inch deck and it solved the problem.

For sure. A smaller deck will always give the cleanest cut

I just bought the same thing with a 60" deck. I was wanting a 48", but they didn't have one on hand and I needed to get something happening. My first impression was I made the right choice!! The combination of the drives, the engine, and the price was unbeatable... plus the 7 gauge deck is beefier than just about anything out there short of a true commercial unit at twice the price. I mow pretty tall due to the gentle rolls of my property and it really doesn't seem make any low spots where the edge of the deck dips like a normal rider would even with the 60". I did notice the seat could be better, but after an hour and a half it was still luxury compared to what I was using before.

Man glad you made this video, didn't know that seat option was avaliable for various mower brands, what happened to your grasshopper?

I borrow a Grasshopper from work every now and then, but didn't pull the trigger on buying one. Maybe in a few years...

Does the seat move forward and back now with the new track? I bought (what i thought was a 2021) mavrick with 80 hours turns out is wad a 2019. Well my stock sest dont move forward or back and has no suspension so i was looking at this same suspension set up. I just couldn't tell if the new suspension setup comes with adjustable track to move your seat forward and backwards

Good question! The suspension gets sandwiched between the existing track and the seat. So if you don't have sliders, the Tracseat that I bought wouldn't add them. They do, i belive, make a complete replacement seat with a slider

The bad noy rep. was recommending not to mow wet grass as water might find it' s way in the sealed spindle bearings and cause then to rust!

Wish we had that choice out here! A person CAN pop those bearings open and grease em. That would help prevent rust
