Bet the escalator to the wall story is It's either a mall or a once large department store,just closing off the second floor. Cheaper to just put up the wall then to remove the escalator.

Enjoyed the video. Some crazy issues there. Some appear to be more the result of poor installation rather than bad design. As for the one where the toilet is blocking the door open -- I think that's more a case of workers messing with each other. To correct it all one has to do is pull the hinge pins and put the door on the other side of the toilet.

Some people should not be in construction! Mistakes happen, but don't finish up and make it look pretty if it's wrong.

I fail to see the issue with the first image; it's a fairly typical UK terraced house viewed from the rear. 7:30 is not a design fail; it's a space-saving stairway. 10:50 looks like a new-build house...and I suspect the bus-stop sign will be moved.
