I volunteer helping disabled adults, and a lot of them wouldn't realize it isn't candy until too late (they're smart, but not always literate due to deveopmental disabilities). globes like that are usually called stencil globes, you have a imprinted texture globe, you wrap a sheet of paper on it, and use a graphite stick to smooth on a map. its an old style printer for maps. or at least it was suppose to be

I wanted to weigh in on the design at 11:30 as a wheelchair user. It fucking sucks. A person who can walk is going to walk straight down the stairs, not at a zig-zag, which means you're going to be constantly cutting people off as you go up the ramp. Switchbacks like that are supposed to make it so that the ramp isn't too steep and complies with ADA standards (or whatever the country's equivalent is) but those look both too steep for a manual chair and too narrow for a powerchair. There's also no railing, meaning if you make any kind of mistake you're going to fall down the stairs in your wheelchair, and it's very likely you're going to make a mistake because the ramp appears to be tilted down slightly. The whole structure is also made of a very smooth material that's going to get slippery if it rains or there's ice or snow. If it's supposed to be a wheelchair ramp, it's genuinely the worst wheelchair ramp I've ever seen. I'd almost rather them not have one at all, at least then you can sue them and get one installed.

15:41 there’s one toilet at where I work where the dryer is right above the trashcan. So if the trash can, which is made like a grid gets placed too high, then the dryer will blow out anything in the trashcan. These bathrooms are so weirdly designed. There’s this room with two sinks a dryer and a trashcan right under it. Then there’s two toilets connected to that room, which have a sink and dryer. There’s always toilet paper on the floor in there. Either because people just threw it before leaving the toilets or if it’s blown out of the trashcan.

They probably couldn't get them to work properly on the upper taillights, so they relegated them to the bottom. There are other cars that do this, and it shouldn't cause any confusion, as the 3rd brake light at the top is still clearly visible.

If the bulb was out of the hatch was open the bottom lights would be the tail lights as it blocks all the tail lights when that hatch is open) so maybe it’s a situation like that where the hatch isn’t fully closed but I’d hope they realise it isn’t fully closed if that’s the case. Edit, I did my research. That is not what’s happening. The place where you expect the tailights to be, those are rear marker lights

Normally, those glass toilet stalls (and/or doors) are supposed to go opaque when you lock the door. It's a nice way to prevent the stupid knocking because opaque = occupied. So either this person didn't lock or the system was faulty.

4:25 - It's often like this because of regulations. Some jurisdictions (most (all?)) require at least a set signal indicators be placed on parts of the car that are static. Thus for car manufacturers to maintain their "sleek design", they'll put two sets of indicators with one of them solely to comply with regulations.

Neither the column nor the staircase builder. It was the sheetrock guy who said "not my job". Guaranteed the original plan was for the column's structure to be naked, I.E. Bare or painted steel, and then last minute some admin was like nah that's ugly, wrap it in sheetrock.

The work with home one was such an easy fix. It just needs to be two skinnier but touching buildings with two triangles for the roof so it has a dip in the middle like every m ever written by a human being
