Sat here now reading the book on Simple Minds by Graeme Thompson and how Kenny Hyslop liked this song and the link to Promised You A Miracle. Couldn't hear it until 1 minute in when the keys come in.

Read about the influence of this record on Simple Minds' "Promised You a Miracle" in the Feb 2013 issue of Uncut. Hard not to hear the roots of that song when you hear the keyboard riff on this track.

I used to go to a club where the DJ was obsessed with Simple Minds. This is the inspiration for their song "Promised You a Miracle." Too bad he didn't know about it. He could've done a great mix with the two songs.
