This review was originally posted in March 2012, and was filmed at MAGfest that particular year (Set Up, the second crossover with Rap Critic, was filmed the subsequent year). This is a re-edited version that runs 3m 31s shorter than original, and has been upscaled to HD and had significant noise reduction applied to reduce background camera noise. There has also been substantial cuts to the film clips, and I've removed a few jokes that I felt may have been a little too much. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for uploading this one, Film Brain. One of my favorite reviews. I remember when it came out too, right after the crossover you did with JesuOtaku for Sucker Punch. Gotta say, that review wasn't very good, and not just for the fact that J.O. was incessantly mean to Film Brain for no reason, but the whole plot of them being trapped together and forced to review a film has been done to death. It was refreshing to see THIS review with Film Brain and Rap Critic: no plot, just a review, and the two actually collaborate and work together, rather than antagonize each other.
@Mossedepths5 жыл бұрын
Man, I remember watching this at home years ago and thinking it was so funny. Now I’m embarrassed about thinking it was good. The characters are so idiotic, the story is contrived as hell, the attempt to make it a semi-musical made no sense, and worst of all, there was absolutely ZERO demand for a third BMH movie! Why in the hell would Trent think it would be a genius idea to ambush his father on the job? Why couldn’t he just waited to go on his date after the criminals were caught? How come the criminals didn’t put two and two together after seeing “Charmaine” walk out of the same closet within a minute of Trent going in? Aughhhhh! These people are morons! Thank goodness we’ll never get anymore of these stupid stupid movies!

So many of the forced “comedic” hijinks in this could be easily solved if Trent just told everyone at the school he was a trans lesbian. But I guess the 2000’s weren’t ready for that 😬
@Shades1410 ай бұрын
This definitely would have been a different movie if they went that way. But as it is, they still could have had character development with Trent starting out as an objectivising pig but actually learns about the struggles of the women who go to the college and starts siding with them. Maybe have him afraid to do activities with them, but then finds himself liking it and hanging out with them even when he drops the disguise.

Do I even need to point out how horribly transphobic the "Big Momma's House" movies are? The entire premise is that it's funny for men to dress in fat suits and pretend to be women, expecting the audience to both laugh at and be critical of how well someone "passes" as a woman. I watched BMH2 in the Cinema way back when. One of the biggest wastes of time since the Eragon movie.
