I know the band Still Pist and I've seen Erin Micklow around. I've never really had a conversation with her other than maybe a "Hey" but I've seen her around and have even seen her at a few of my bands shows. All I really know of her is that she's despised in the L.A. Punk scene. It baffles my mind that she tries so hard to be a part of a scene that clearly doesn't like her or want her around. She knows that, yet continues to try and be some sort of "Punk Rock Influencer". Why? Why try to fit in where you are clearly NOT wanted? It's like someone who continually invites themselves to parties that people went out of their way NOT to invite you to. It's weird, sad and pathetic. It would be like if I decided to show up at my ex wife's new husbands birthday party.

People who think Punk means sticking it to the man, being anti-corporation, ant-government really needs to check the Punk history books and realise that what it really was was a reaction to pop culture and poverty in the 70's.

Especially if she’s an influencer.
@RevStickleback5 ай бұрын
It's difficult. Only two people know who threw the first punch, or if there really were any punches thrown at all. It might have been more of a scuffle that an actual fight. Erin might well have exaggerated what happened, but it does seem like there was an aggressive confrontation towards Erin, which at some point became physical. Even if Erin was the one who first got physical, that doesn't necessarily make her the guilty party. If you genuinely fear for you safety, you don't have to wait for the other person to attack you first. For all the criticisms she's had, being violent isn't one of them, as far as I know. It sounds like the girl from the band got in-your-face angry towards her, some school playground level fight broke out, and it got made into a bigger deal than it really was.

I was at PUNK ROCK bowling and literally was feet away and watched the entire incident go down and just like in this story, it seems, she is absolutely not telling the truth! She tries to make herself out to seem like she’s so kind and sweet and I literally just get secondhand embarrassment from her! A really good friend of mine in a band from New York who’s really big and I’m just not gonna shout it out, not familiar with her. he said he had to do a quick interview, when he came back, I asked him who it was, and he told me that she did it. He’s not aware of her reputation here and I was like oh my gosh no don’t do it go tell her not to put it up blah blah blah. Sure enough it came up and it was so embarrassing. He wanted it taken down immediately! Yet another time I was at a wedding And I get called over by a friend and I looked at her and I wanted to bust up laughing! I was nice though and my friend “introduced us“ and I said, I know you I saw you at the last PUNK ROCK bowling. Her last PUNK ROCK bowling. She probably remembered me too because I have a look. If looks could kill it that very moment and I walked away and with my friends just laughed! This girl is such an attention seeker. PUNK ROCK runs in my blood literally. PUNK ROCK is my way of life since I was in the fifth grade! I had The Circle Jerks, adolescence, local long Beach bands, like secret hate and falling idols. I spent every weekend at fenders, and if there happened not to be a show, we would go to backyard. Parties and sublime would play or the falling idols… when I was in the fifth grade! I would walk all the way down to ZED records and spend every last penny I ever got on any new album that dropped. Again, this was in the fifth grade! Fast forward, I went onto Mary super hot guy. That was the singer of a band. He was sleeved and tattoos, but he was 65 and, black hair and big beautiful green eyes and I just knew we would make beautiful children, so we got married. Now those children, three of them, all came out kind of different personalities, of course. However, they were born into PUNK ROCK royalty! My oldest daughter, who is absolutely stunning, beautiful, is your typical beautiful blonde hair blue eyed listens to completely different music, like the music that’s in right now in the pop scene or whatever, can jump up and sing every toy doll song every super sucker song, mommy‘s little monster and it blows peoples minds! That’s her little back pocket trick. People see her and think no way and if they put that music on, she’ll get up and start Nail it every time! My youngest daughter, who is in the scene and literally is treated like PUNK ROCK royalty, as she should be, is the sweetest kindest girl in the world! She can disarm you with her smile! She loves everyone and she absolutely despises Aaron! I have more stories, but I will leave it there, I am so over this chick, and I am so sick of her showing up at our shows that we seriously just wanna listen to music and like get lost in it and she shows up to get attention. I also felt something was very fishy about this story and I was going to post something on Instagram about it with a funny screenshot I grabbed from her video. I decided not to because I decided that if I were to do that, I would be doing exactly what she wanted, which is give her attention! She does not do anything for the PUNK ROCK scene. She dresses up and wants attention, she wants to charge bands to promote their albums, and who the hell is going to listen to her? Also, she is so cringe. Literal secondhand embarrassment constantly when I see her interviews. She’s terrible at it! Maybe she’ll after this incident go crawl into a hole and none of us will have to deal with drama anymore!the people who really have PUNK ROCK flowing through their veins know what we feel and know what the music does to us and know what it is to have that as a lifestyle, she needs to take her fake ass and go see Fall Out Boy! 🤬🤯👊🏻🖤🎤🎸🥁💄💋. I really did not want to pick sides but at this point I'd rather have a "glitter punk" in my local scene than a "rabie punk"/ Rancid stan who exhibits toxic behavior. It's odd that he will wear Operation Ivy and Grimple patches on his hoodie but then have the nerve to ask Erin how self-aware she thinks she is. Like does he not listen to their lyrics?

still stand by all criticisms made of both parties, but it feels like a mischaracterization to not call shoving anything into someone else's bra instigation, if not sexual harassment? there have been a non-zero number of incidents where men have groped me and pulled at my chothes similarly at shows and me responding by shoving them away from me has been seen as instigation rather than retaliation and it's super frustrating - i wouldn't have needed to do that if someone else hadn't decided to put their hand on my body in the first place. the band has denied that randi threw the first punch but i can't imagine doing that to someone and completely forgoing the possibility that i'd get hit as a result? i think it's reasonable to have conflicting details, both amongst the different parties and within each individual's narrative as time passes, but this is weirdo behavior.

If someone recognizes you, corners you, starts pushing stuff down your bra and then throws a drink in your face what do you think is gonna happen next? I would say you would kind of have the right to punch the person at least once just to get yourself out of this very threatening situation. This Randi person created the whole scenario. Micklow didn't. I would not call this them getting into some sort of consensual fight where an argument was gonna be settled by fighting. That is clearly not what happened. That much said Micklow does seem pretty annoying and Im not exactly a fan of hers either. Bottom line is people should still leave her alone.

Throwing a show at the Viper Room and calling it a "punk" party ain't it. She has to do stupid shit like that because she wouldn't even know where to begin to throw avreal.punk show.
