Great video! That bird early in the video was actually a white tailed tropicbird-- fairy terns have a shorter forked tail! In Hawaii you also get some red-tailed tropicbirds, which are a bit rarer and have red tail streamers instead of white.

So are you running 6 rods and two handlines at times then? That’s keeps the boys busy that’s forsure! Bigger lures on the long riggers so they stay out of the way of the other lines then!?

How do you run the handlines in place, via rubber band? Are they the closest lures to the boat?

6-8 lines bigger lures on riggers mostly always. Handlines are just cleated off. Rubberband is so we hear or have a visual reference during a strike.
