Great song to start back up on Bad Religion with!!!

Brain cell to Jacob, obviously...I love the mixing of the vocals! Here we go...the Brooks era! I love the simple driving bass along with that drum beat and that guitar tone that kicks this song off! This is one of those interesting BR songs that continues to show that they were not afraid to try something new. Brilliant as fuck lyrics as always, solid song writing as always. I love it when BR pushes even their own boundaries, strays from their own sound, but yet, it comes off so familiarly Bad Religion.

As far as post Atlantic BR goes, this is my favorite album. From start to finish, it hits so hard!

I was hoping "Empire Strikes First" would be a whole album listen eventually. One of my favorite Bad Religion albums!!! Great song, great review.

I'm pretty sure Greg said this song is about his hiking trips with Brett and being completely cut off from the rest of civilization. When you're in the middle of the desert up a mountain, you're beyond the reach of electrical waves.

The best song BR ever wrote. The production is simply incredible.

Interesting pick. Definitely lower on my favourite list. I mean it’s BR so nuff said. I think there’s way more bangers on this album IMO.

True. But that just means the best is yet to come. I love this song but I agree, there are others on this album that hit even harder.
