They did the episode “Spell” to introduce Clark’s vulnerability to magic…. Up into that point, it was only meteor rock(kryptonite). That’s why at the end Clark told his parents, “magic is real I saw it. What’s worst is that it can hurt me.”

The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. John 1:1,14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, 1 John 3:8 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. John 3:18 KJV He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

@@Dracodin197 True! But to be fair I will give Tom a bit of a pass on this. He did say he came in not knowing much about all Superman’s powers and wanted to keep it that way and learn along with Clark as his abilities emerged on the show in the early years. He said avoid anybody even talking about Clark’s abilities around him before he learned about them in the early seasons. He even said he ask Christopher Reeve to stop telling him about Clark’s powers when he worked with him. He said he wanted to learn with Clark as the show progressed. But yeah, I agree the other cast members should have read up more on the history of their characters and Superman mythology before and as they progressed on the show..

@DiegoCortes-qn4sn the "alien stuff" was no more grounded than the witch stuff. The witch effects and magic system was no different than any other witch element on TV show before. People just didn't want witch craft on smallville. Which was odd given in prevalence in DC universe. It was also the first plot line that finally saw Lana developing some independence from Clark, which wasn't focused on "will Clark love her or will she go back to him, or secrets and lies." That's why people had an issue with it.
@Churrowhisperer9 ай бұрын
@@rn6253 So people had an issue with it because it wasn’t focused on the romance between Clark and Lana?
