Have had an interest in Kristin, and enjoyed watching her acting career develop since 2001 with the wacky Edgemont series. What a breath of fresh air. moments i'd like to take note of from this interview. pauses, current climate, speak across the board, returning hom it feels nostalgic and each corner you feel more and it means more. re-evaluating the myths of your childhood, power dynamic, underlying patriarchal and misogynistic beliefs around women are and how they function and how they should behave. fought for a moment of transition and a big revelation to be something does on her own, not a moment where a man helps her or guides her. vocabulary around empowerment and consent and feel comfortable saying no. stories are coveted where women are in complex and human roles changes where woman are allowed to be who they are and the effect of seeing women in roles such as these shapes the way society sees women.
