We're working on two cars today... the 1934 Dodge and the 1959 Volvo. Remember how we discovered that the clutch was stuck in the Dodge? Well today Nathan is ready to tackle the issue... he's hoping he'll get it unstuck by driving it around the yard but if it doesn't, we'll have to pull the engine out to fix it. While he was driving it around, he discovered another issue that needs to be dealt with. One of the holes you see on the back should be for the wires to the tail light and not for rear fender mounting.

Yup the skirt's made it look totally different. Lower it some with some white wall tires up front

Copper lines is not good for trans line or brakes cooper when it gets hot well expand a cause a pressure loss which is hard on the pump. An can cause trans an brake failure

I would love to have a chance to make that clutch linkage over under the dash. I’ve been out of the loop for a few years but I still remember some Of the unwritten rules that I learned the hard way. They’re the ones that stick in your mind for the next job! Ha ha!

The Volvo is looking great. Love the curves and the fender skirt really adds to the overall look. I actually like how high the trunk lid is. I think it adds to the look of the car as opposed to taking away.

A fairly easy day in the shop today just trying to shuffle things around to make the easier to work on. If i had to work on the clutch I would just use the lift and drop the transmission.

Even I thought the trunk was going to be to high because I did not think about the fact that the car was jacked up quite a ways. Nate nice work on the clutch you are so inventive just like Chad! You have to still pull fillplug if you put to much gear lube in the trans you are building up crank case pressure in the trans. It can cost you. Soul lug an fill to the bottom of plug threads

OK The bottom portion of that of those two top pieces would not have worked over in the other room, but the top piece was almost a straight line, and therefore could have been bent elsewhere

I had a Farm Tractor that the clutch would stick A farm mechanic suggested to Cut a 2x4 to partially depress clutch pedal Suffered through Stuck clutch for several years After the 2x4 Prop board Never had a Problem
