Cheers mate, I always wanted to play this but it was just one of those games that I never got round to buying. I went to CEX today and spent 60 quid on a bunch of PS4 games that I also had always intended to play at some point (Dark souls 3, Uncharted, Witcher 3, Spiderman, God of war and a mixture of WWE and Sports eg FIFA, UFC 3, NBA, NHL) This has been such a helpful video. I watched it while walking back from the shop, it got me gassed up to play it lol.

​@Jake01273 tbh spec how you want to play, lower levels are a cake walk if you clear side quests before main missions. Mayhem and TVHM are where you have to actual worry about builds and respecing.

Thanks! I can't give too much advice about the DLC. I'd honestly just say hold off on it early on, as I think most of it is either supposed to be tackled late game, or post game. The starting missions for the DLC should give a recommended level to them (if I'm remembering things right)

I just started playing this game this week (late to the game, I know). Is there still gold codes being given out for those gold gear boxes or whatever they’re called? This is a very helpful video. I was somewhat overwhelmed.

I just had a quick look and the most recent code I could find is from a couple of years back. Probably worth seeing if there's a page with all the codes listed, as I don't think they're time locked (at least I've come across some which haven't been)

Ice held back on playing this so long i forgot until last week, it honestly is just as good as BL 2. My only gripe is the damn level scaling AGAIN having to olay the game at its absolute worst and most unbalanced before experiencing an actual challenge is mind numbing.

Could you explain how to modify the controller to work like the original game. L2/R2 for aim and shoot sucks. I tried to modify it in the menu but now I can’t remove the changes I made. Thanks…MJ

Afraid I can't really help you there. I would have assumed modifying it like you've already done would be the way. I played on PC and it was simple there, but guessing controller is a bit trickier

If you're talking controller I'd assume it would be either pushing the left stick forward or holding the right trigger. On PC I'm pretty sure it's just the W key, same as moving forward.

Those skills still do apply. If you've spent the point then you've got the skill, no matter which tree it's from.

Honestly can't say. I feel like the difficulties of all the games in the series are similar, so would depend more so on the specific elements you struggled with

People say Borderlands 3 is very easy especially in endgame. There is no UVHM in Borderlands 3. Just Normal and TVHM. That being said with this thing called Mayhem Mode in endgame (which scales things to your level and gives you better bear) it makes TVHM obsolete and majority play TVHM to just replay story and otherwise stay in Normal. Certain pieces of gear in base game make endgame a breeze and if you add the dlc gear to this it can make endgame feel too easy sometimes. But for sure if you want to play a game where you can feel godly play Borderlands 3.
