What Sam attempts to do with Carly is exactly what makes him Captain America. Anyone else would neutralise her, but only Captain America tries to seek an unmessy outcome, even for those who have done wrong. They should always face the law. It's why Steve became Captain America, it's why Sam became captain america.

No. Sam's morals are screwed up. Karli murdered people and he's all "I don't wanna fight you" give me a break. When Zemo blows up a building he's a criminal and a terrorist. When Karli does she's "just a kid" mhmmm sure. Funny how Sam abandoned Sharon, shot and in pain, in that burning building, but he carried Karli's body out.

US Agent is from the comics. Just like the show, he’s more of the anti-Steve in that he doesn’t mind killing to get the job done. He’s sort of like Homelander from The Boys. Also, Peggy Carter from the Captain America movies was the first Agent Carter. Sharon (her niece) is the 2nd Agent Carter (aka Agent 13)

The suit is a nearly _perfect_ copy of Sam's Captain America suit in the comics. The guy who blew up the truck was the butler who flew to Zemo to pick him up before going to Madripoor. Glad I'm not the only one who really didn't feel too bad for Karli or optimistic in a peaceful resolution. She had killed dozens already and just that same night attempted to murder dozens more, her fight with Sam was only going one way.

Sharon was Peggy Carter’s (Steve Rogers love interest in his origin story movie) great niece. Peggy Carter helped found S.H.I.E.L.D. Peggy briefly had her own series (2 seasons) called Agent Carter. She is one of my favorite characters in the MCU.

So you were both right, it's new wings and a new suit, comic accurate just like the phase was pulling for Sharon being the Power Broker felt kinda obvious to me I must admit, the big Madripoor penthouse and whatnot was the big clue. I liked how in the end though Walker did do the right thing, he's not a bad guy but the shadow of Captain America looms large, plus now he sets off on the path of his comics counterpart as US Agent (it is a comic character, US Agent was a brief Steve Rodgers moniker too, as well as The Nomad), and starts setting up the Thunderbolts.

Bucky and John walker(US Agent) becomes part of The Thunderbolts (2025 film) teams as which also includes Taskmaster, Red gaurdian and Yelena from Black widow. Ghost from ant and the wasp, and Harrison Ford as General Ross from Captain America Civil War. Also Agent Carter is actually Peggy Carter who becomes an Agent in Strategic Scientific Reserve(SSR) in the series Agent Carter.

Sam’s lack of a helmet is honestly my biggest concern. Head trauma is such an easy thing to happen so him not having a helmet when even Walker as a super soldier still wears a helmet is just strange. As for Walker, yes US Agent is a real character in the comics, he began in the comics as a Cap antagonist but eventually nowadays he’s often an ally. Steve has called on him for help in numerous scenarios. As for the MCU, both Walker and Bucky will be appearing in the Thunderbolts that’s set to be released in 2025, and Sam will be appearing in Captain America: Brave New World, also set for 2025 release.

No season 2, a new Captain America movie being filmed with Sam. In the comics Walker was stronger than Rogers but Steve was smarter and able to beat him. US Agent will be in a series with Yelena, Black Widows sister and her father. Some other characters I can't remember at the moment. Should be good. You saw Isaiah plant a cigarette case or something in the wall when we first met him. His grandson will be the Avenger the Patriot one day. Sam's friend will fix the wings he has and become the new Falcon. That's how it was in the comic anyway.

Kinda great they made him into US Agent. US Agent, while a good guy, sort of is in a morally grey area of good guy. You could almost say he leans towards anti-hero. Doing questionable things for the greater good. Sort of like Deadpool or Punisher. Granted he will probably be smug of course. Also if you notice, since he took the serum he has some ticks (spelling?) now. When she said "Don't call me Val", he did a head twist, like a spasm. Not super important but it shows the serum is not without its side effects.

Yes, John Walker, after a short stint as a US government sanctioned captain America, takes the mantle of US Agent. He’s a more violent, more conservative version of captain America and yes he does wear a black colored uniform with red and white stripes. He was a sometimes avenger. The character is going to appear in the Thunderbolts movie.

Wandavision was unique in a way cause it was the first of a good short series that had a lot of MCU fans drawn to it. It's success is what I think lead to the success of the others. Captain America and The Winter Soldier felt very much like old MCU with old Captain America movies, it fits and flows so well. Before it I did not expect Sam to fill the shoes of Steve Rodgers, after this series he is a worthy successor I love. Bucky also best boi. You're forgetting that Karli said the "movement is strong enough to continue without us". They had supporters all over the world and nobody knows how many or where they were in society. I don't think we'll get a season 2, but this will follow up in Captain America 4 New World Order. I believe Bucky and Sam will return along with a number of other major Marvel characters. Also U.S Agent will return aka Walker in the next movie The Thunderbolts. Not sure the rest of the cast and which characters are showing up in that one. I heard Bucky is going to be in that movie as well along with a few others, Ghost, Black Widow (The New one) and possibly Red Hulk, but i'm not entirely sure.

Falcon in the Winter soldier was supposed to set up Captain America 4 movie. Captain America brave New world we'll deal with the connection between the super soldier serum and the Hulk formula. The fallout from wakanda forever and the government looking for Vibranium which cost of government to change direction and discovering antimantium from the body of the Dead celestial tiamat. Whose body is in international waters and whose body will also be a refugee base for mutants setting up the island of Genosha. The island in which magneto rules over. While also introducing antimantium setting up the introduction to the MCU wolverine. Also in the movie will explain why Captain America hasn't been seen since the events of falcon in the Winter soldier and Sam Wilson Captain America main villain the president of the United States Thaddeus thunderbolt Ross AKA the red Hulk.

This show tried so hard to tell us one thing but showed us something else entirely. It tells us Karli has a righteous agenda but flawed means, but it shows us a terrorist who goes straight to violence when the world's governments have a hard time figuring out an unprecedented problem in under 6 months. It tells us that Sam has the high road over the bumbling beurocrats, but what does he suggest they do practically? Ummm. It tells us to hate "blond haired, blue eyed" John Walker because the main characters tell him to piss off, but he is working as an official envoy of the government and is only asking for help. The message they tell and the message they show are absolutely at odds, just like Wanda's last ditch sympathy from Monica. Watch the pitch meetings. You'll laugh and you'll think. Critical Drinker did a great break down of FatWS as well.

US Walker was a US Marine in the comics. The story is pretty close to the basic plots of the comics. but he was more like a loose cannon/Maverick type of character or Dirty Harry. Steve Rogers has the much more higher morales. Because he grew in a different time/era. Where it was normal to be patriotic because hopefully. They are all pretty much characters from the comics. When Sony bought the rights to Spiderman they got about 800 characters, to give you an idea. No spoilers, US Agent, Val, Isaiah Bradley, the young man with him Eli Bradley, Torres who was helping the Falcon, Georges St-Pierre played Batroc, Sharon/Power Broker are all in their own way significant in the comics, all heroes or villains etc... This show had its problems from the start, the original plot/story was written before Covid. The plot was something like there was a pandemic, there was a vaccine, but not enough & it wasn't being shared (complications from the blip), Karli would be trying to get vaccines being held back from those being denied a vaccine. Anyway, they had lots of rewrites!!!

This wasn't the best MCU show mostly because the re-writes and the part of the plot involving a virus that they ended up taking out (because this came out during the pandemic), but I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. At least the chemistry between Captain America and the Winter Soldier is there, and they get to develop and grow as characters, so a movie with them will be interesting.

Sam not having suit to protect him is not a problem by MCU standards. Being a super soldier doesn't make you bullet proof. Read that 5 times until it sinks in. Now with that in mind, Steve seemed to never get shot. The shield doesn't cover his entire body. People just don't seem to care about shooting his legs or feet. 🤷🏾‍♂️. Bucky miraculously seems to block all gun fire aimed at him with his vibranium forearm. 🤷🏾‍♂️. This is the Wonder Woman thing in the comic world where the hero has plot armor that makes him/her bullet proof. Nobody ever seems to try snd shoot WW in the foot. 🤷🏾‍♂️. In the case of Sam, he has more actual protection than any of them. The vibranium wings cover his whole body and he has the vibranium sheild. And. As far as taking punches from a super soldier, who?? Isaiah?? Bucky?? Walker?!?Because all the other ones are dead. 🤷🏾‍♂️ No would I prefer that Sam be powered up some way physically? Of course. Having actual powers makes for better action scenes. But the real problem with Sam being seen as Cap is his personality. In the MCU, he was always the comic relief partner to Steve. He always gave off sidekick vibes. We never saw him lead a team or be shown the respect from teammates as a leader. Sam Wilson was Cap for a good amount of time in the comics be he was NOT like the MCU Sam in the comics. He may have been considered a sidekick but never yhe comic relief. And he actually did have mutant type powers where he could communicate and control birds. He was taken seriously. Sam in the MCU not only was comic relief but he also lost every physical fight he was ever shown in....even to Antman. They have to do a lot more than show him talking down to Senators before people can transition to seeing him as Cap. And let me just say that for the overwhelming majority of those lukewarm or not in board with him being Cap, it isn't because he's black. I mean, if Steve had passed the shield to Black Panther T'Challa, would anyone be skeptical of his ability to fullfill the need? I mean...well he isn't American...but other than that. 😂

I don’t know if you guys noticed, but after Bucky completed his “redemption” list with Yori, the next time he sees him through the window at the restaurant, the girl serving him (who he had the date with) was wearing a “white wolf” shirt. Subtle storytelling that Bucky was no longer the winter soldier and had found his redemption as the white wolf

us agent took over for captain america when cap came out against the vietnam war. there was alot of national pride in the late 70's early 80's and captain america fell out of popularity because of his stance, us agent was supposed to be a foil for captain america and ended up being his replacement.

Shame they broke the shield. Vibranium shield stopping all kinetic force, but Sam gets knocked around while blocking.
