⚠️You don't have to read me... So, out of alot of personal issues I got back to building gunpla. Mind you I'm no expert, and I do it for the fun. I used to buy them as a kid. I hit up a store in a mall I worked at called ThinkGeek. I had just finished the "00" series, naturally it was on my mind. My first Gunpla ever (due to issues, I don't really remember what gundams I used to get as a kid. I consider this to be my first one.) right infront of me was the 00 Quanta himself. I say I got lucky... but right next to it. This guy right here. It was a really hard choice to make. In the end, I felt takin 00 home was the right choice. Having finished that series, bringing me back to Gundam. Already feel like I wrote too much, but couple months later.. I have a collection of my own that I'm happy and proud of. I even got me "RX-78-2", it was alot of fun to build!! To end my little story, this kit somehow made it back to the store to find me. It sounds corny as fuck.. but it was the last one in the store and I had been thinkin' about it. I thought that was pretty cool. Idk if anyone will care, or not... I just thought it was dope 😬

@@BadGunpla1 you made the kit hold the katana in reverse, in that guard the edge should be facing upward, and the extended leg should have the knee facing up, in your pose the knee would snap if someone kicked it or just stepped on it. To resume, if you assumed that pose you would be gripping the katana with the edge facing yourself, striking with the dull spine, and have your knee critically vulnerable to kicks. You should get your ispiration from fighting manuals pictures, and then exagerate the poses a little bit for some dramatic effect. Believe me, as soon as you spot such huge flaws the pose look stupid, unless of course you want to portray a scene where the mobile suit is pilotid by a complete amateur that doesn't know how to fight.

I love this video. Though from studying martial arts for a small bit, the poses still look unnatural. Mostly because they leave you vulnerable and/or serve no function (i.e. they don't guard anything, don't really set up for a powerful or swift strike). For better references, martial arts videos and manuals (like from HEMA or Kendo) can work. Still go back to these videos for reference though (just not the photos).
@BadGunpla17 жыл бұрын

A bunch of pieces in my Astray's chest keep on popping out. I don't know why it happens but it irritates me so much that i can't give it extreme poses.

Why does everyone always do a dirty paint job on their gunpla? So few attempt to make it look new or weathered but clean. Its always looks like it fell into the mud.

Upvote if you feel personally victimized by this awesome video.

Upvoting this for being victimized by this video, of all of them, being the one blessed by KZbins algorithms.

@@BadGunpla1 That thumbnail is just too pretty to resist. The algorithm can put you on a page, but the content gets the click (and subscribe) A+ stuff.

Better look at anime possing than real people as your model, gundam was meant to look good at anime style than realistic pose, trust me it's much more effective
