One of the few times I disagree with Kermode. Though it isn't a great movie, I thought the scenes with Galifinakis and the scenes with the dude from Flight of the Concords were really funny. I also thought Carrells character was really likable.

seriously what the fuck. i can't be told i have a ill-judged sense of humour because i have laughed at and praised comedies for which mark has done the same. but i found myself falling out of my seat laughing at this and i don't understand why critics are tearing on it so much. it's not a good film by any means but it certainly DOES have laughs

I like both Carrell and Rudd but that clip sounded awful. His Swiss acent sounded much more like a Swedish one. Terrible stereotypes too.
