Heavy heavy hitters! Almost too much talent for one band......truly a musician's band. Average folks just didn't get it I don't think. This band was a decade too late to hit their true potential for selling records. Ray was the real deal, Jake was a phenom, Eric Singer was a MONSTER on the kit, and Greg was a 60's style bass player, he could have played behind Hendrix. The second album had a cover of James Taylor's Fire and Rain that made your neck hair stand up!

When he plays it live the intro is really Zakk-like - though I know Zakk played more Jake-like and only got better playing Jakes and Randy's (and lest we forget Tony') stuff. Gillen certainly never got his due, and live he was incredible - no autotune, no tricks, nothing. Feel bad I never saw these guys.
