No effects no autune no pitch correct, not even reverb or delay.....just a voice ..recorded right off the mix board. Man unreal what a pure voice.

It's a shame, Badlands probably would have been huge, had they gotten together 5-10 years earlier and not right before the grunge hit the industry. The chemistry and songwriting of Jake and Ray was undeniable, the talent certainly was there too for the whole band as well. A great clip from their past show, thanks for sharing this!

I only got to see them once live, opening for Great White and Tesla, but they were solid performers with a great debut. They might have been bigger if their follow up was a bit more solid--and if it hadn't come at the outset of grunge, which swept away the hair bands.

all shitty punk, grunge, crappy emo-fucking-core bands killed these legendary bands... I wish those terrible music had never been born.
@jeanguion32236 жыл бұрын
Music doesn't kill music... Record companys kill music , by choosing bands that are too young and under developed to really make it....then neglect the aging stars they already have....and then when the new kiddy band can't produce another album , these cocksuckers go out and find simpler minded bands to tune down the public discernment of musicianship a little more.... I hate them for it... This leaves no choice but to change our styles or be forgotten.. ......there really aren't any "great" musicians on the radio anymore , and that's a fukin tradgedy........ Music drives our inner conciousness...controlls our emotions...and prevokes us to go see these guys live , just to see if they pull it off live.... Remember spending coultless hours alone mastering your favorite musicians vocals and or guitar work , so when you went to the concert you'd either be saying.. Yeah I give him props for writting it but I do it better , or , yeah he's a god.... That really no longer exsists.... Who wants to devote time and energy to a band so un-orchestrated or thought out, you can nearly play along with album first listen.......... Bands like Nirvana ruined music... the new standard is way below what used to be the standard for rock stars.....It sickens me....alot...
