I was friends with a lady who worked for a music publisher. The publisher “calls the shots” and makes ALL the money . Their “connections “ make or break bands . I guess if Badly Drawn Boy didn’t “suck-up” to a producer/publisher , he wouldn’t get a break . I think that his music is a little too sophisticated for the radio pop world BS ?!

YES!! In the original, the girl dies, sadly, thats why "he hate ducks" and then comes "Silent sigh" a song that, I must say, sometimes makes me cry... It is a really infamous cicle, between the 'guy' and the duck.
