4:16 Amusingly enough, Clark spent years trying to get Lois's attention in the old animated series and YET Bruce plowed her in the same day he met her... and Clark had to grit his teeth (super hearing had to be a nightmare that night) and bare with it. It was made worse when Bruce gave him a smug grin the next day. Lois made an offhand comment that made it sound like her sleeping with Bruce was Clark's fault, if I remember correctly. Essentially blaming him for not sealing the deal himself. Clark is better than me, for a fact. If I spent years romancing a girl who constantly accepts and rebuffs my feelings according to her whims that day, only for her to sleep with a guy she met earlier that day... Yeah, I'm washing my hands and calling her an acquaintance or a work friend from that point on.
