I think it’s fine to high serve from the front court line as it doesn’t take much to walk back to the center with the long hang time of a high serve, and I know that players like Akane Yamaguchi serve as far up as possible but I guess it’s just preference.
@huaxzhang
@huaxzhang 3 жыл бұрын
Peter Gade did this also in his All England SF 2001. It's probably not just preference. Idea presumably is to make your service really deep and high.

Where does the server land?
@zeerak500

Okay I am playing now for quite sometime. KZbin is my main teacher I see coach Lee Jae Bok Channel and some others. My query is sometimes I serve from odd side to opponent and if opponent is near T I try to serve on his back hand or away serve. I don't move racket and do it in one motion like rule. Is it good or can you elaborate in some your video.. new rule also 3.14 feet do tell about it.
@BadmintonFamly
@BadmintonFamly 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes it is a good idea to place the serve out in that side sometimes, a good chance it will come straight into your forehand. Always a good idea to have variations in your serve👌🏻

Is there a specific reason why most females do forehand serves while males do backhand serves, typically?
@BadmintonFamly
@BadmintonFamly 4 жыл бұрын
Yes because the men are very good at attacking the high serve, it is just to dangerous to start the rally in the defense👍🏻

Could you please make a video talking about towel grips?? I use an over grip and it's pretty good, however I am wanting to use towel grips but every time I try to use it, my thumb gets really torn up and the skin gets hard which makes it hurt badly, as well as that I use grip powder and the grip is still very slippery and tears my thumb even more, kento momota has a very thin grip that is very used and if I tryed that it would break my hand. Could you please help me? Thanks tim

Seems like the towel grip you try is very rough and not smooth? Should be more smooth than over grip.🙃

Yes it will be more rough with grip powder but should not tear your skin up, you must have very smooth hands them 🤪

Drink a cup of cement with water and harden-up! Wash your hands with Methylated Spirits and that will harden the skin and if that doesn't work then drink a little with Orange juice and you won't feel a thing.
