With apps like Clutch, AI can definitely help you be a better badminton player! Here’s the link to download the Clutch app in the App Store: geni.us/clutchapp and don’t forget to use the code "badmintoninsight" to get 10% off the annual plan OR "badmintoninsightmonthly" to get 10% off the monthly plan! If you sign up using our code, you will be entered into the draw where Clutch will choose 1 person to win a video call match analysis with us! 😁 The draw will be done on 7th June 2023 and Clutch will notify the winner by email. Note: Clutch is currently only available on iOS. They are aiming to release an Android app in the Play Store on 31st July. Thanks to everyone who sent us footage of themselves playing, and sorry if we didn’t include you - but we have saved them all so keep an eye out for future analysis videos! 👀🏸

Just a recent subscriber (Hello from Ireland ok not that far away!!!) guys and trying to take 1 tip from each video and apply it in my games...just implemented getting to short serves faster, from your return of serve video, and dropping sharply back in a mixed game....my partner and i won both sets 16 & 14. I noticed exactly what you said in that it forced our opponents to lift half court back and it gave me so much time to choose my next shot...next up its the mid court pushes!

I hope this comment will be seen. I play badminton at a fairly sustained level. By the way, i'm playing single. When I play in training, I'm really happy with my results, I'm improving, I'm having good matches, I manage stress well because it happens several times in training that I get back several points in a row and this even when the opponent has the match point, in short my skills are at their maximum in training. On the other hand, when it comes to playing in competition, the stress eats away at me and does not allow me to play completely. My stamina is likewise swallowed up by stress, I'm unsure of my movements. In addition, the fear of making mistakes pushes me to be unsure of my shots and so I make mistakes, it's paradoxical... It usually happens that the first match I make 15 to 20 mistakes. I don't get angry during a match but the stress gradually increases and I therefore make more mistakes, it's a vicious circle. After the match, I feel disappointed because I am absolutely not playing at the same level as when I was in training, in all areas: endurance, technique, mental... Can you make a video on the mental and stress management or do a parenthesis on it during a next video, please!!! Thank you so much, your videos are always great! Love from France!!!

I have the similar problem but for backhand. It's quite hard to know what is the best tips for anyone without any video, but for myself the main problem is my backhand footwork and backhand swing is bad. I imagine for overhead shot it is mainly footwork, and the initial split step to get the rhythm
